Tulum Ruins Expres halvdag privat tur

Our tour of Tulum with Alex was outstanding from start to finish. His command of perfect English made learning effortless, and what truly set him apart was his ability to weave contemporary references throughout his explanations of Mayan culture, politics, and rituals. He brought a genuine anthropologist's perspective to everything, helping us see the historical context through a modern lens in a way we really appreciated. Beyond being our guide, Alex was also our driver, and his attentiveness to our comfort made a real difference. He arranged a stop at Starbucks to fuel up our day and provided cold water bottles and snacks throughout the tour, keeping us energized and comfortable in the Yucatan heat. The three-hour tour itself was perfectly paced, never feeling rushed or dragging. By arriving at 8 am, we had a significant advantage: we beat the crowds and essentially had much of the site to ourselves for most of the tour. This meant stunning photography opportunities without the chaos of peak hours, and we could truly take in the beauty and scale of Tulum at our own pace. Alex's combination of deep knowledge, cultural perspective, practical care, and strategic timing made this an exceptional experience. Thank you, Alex, for a tour that we'll remember long after we leave the Yucatan.

This was an excellent experience! We learned so much about the history of Tulum and the Mayan civilization. Alex was our tour guide and he was AWESOME! Alex was very thoughtful and knowledgeable and we laughed a lot! Our 14 year old does not usually enjoy historical tours and when we got back to the hotel he said it was the first time he ever had fun learning history!

I can’t say enough good things about Alex our tour guide. He was so friendly and so knowledgeable and so great, he just fit in on our family vacation and made it a special day for us. I can’t think of a single thing I would change.

The tour company was great at communicating with me. I knew right away what to expect. Europe the guide was fantastic! And Carlos the driver was so friendly and a great driver

Excellent service, the guide was very friendly and patient because we traveled with a small one.

Ulises was our guide. He was personable, very relatable, great with the kids and extremely knowledgeable. He shared so much about the Mayan culture and also got us to use our imagination to envision living at that time in that environment. Highly recommend this trip and Ulises for family tours.

Amazing, knowledgeable tour guide Ulises! Ulises is personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He kept our whole family engaged and interested. He is great with children and adults alike. Best money we could have spent on a local tour!!!’

The Express to Tulum was great. Alex went over and above to make sure the entire excursion was well planned. His knowledge of the Mayan and region improved the experience immensely, we can't say enough good things about him.

My husband and I booked this tour last minute directly with Carey Tours Riviera Maya and from the first communication they were wonderful! Ulises was a great guide and very informative during our tour of the Tulum ruins. So glad we decided to go with Carey Tours - highly recommend!

We had the honor of touring with Alex, who answered every question we had and was a wealth of knowledge. He was able to share a huge collection of information that spanned from the Ancients to the Mayan ascension, to current times. The tour was beautiful and educational, with wonderful opportunities for photos and views of the coastal turtle waters. I came here as a history fan and Alex's expertise was well-communicated and vast. Thank you so much for making this birthday adventure a picturesque memory with lots of fun.
