Trolley-tur i Wadmalaw Island i South Carolina

Beskrivelse

The trolley tour was very interesting and complimented the movie documentary shown in the tea processing center. The guide was very entertaining.
It was beautiful and Ellen was so knowledgeable. We had a great time I learned so much. Never realized how much actually goes into tea crops. The history of the farm was interesting and meeting the 4-legged grounds keepers was fun. We will do this tour again with our grandchildren.
We visited the Charleston Tea Garden and learned about Tea Production and cultivation here in the U.S. This is a great place to visit, especially if you are a tea drinker. The trolley tour through the tea fields and the factory tour are very informative. The staff were very nice.
This is the only tea plantation in the USA. There were 4 of us and all enjoyed the tour and were surprised at some of the information. So, a learning experience and all the tea you can drink! The trolley tour is very informative, but there is a free "factory tour" that is also informative and definitely worth your time. Highly recommend this activity.
Great tour and boat ride to the lighthouse. Awesome tour guide. Tripp, was very informative and fun.
This is a must see when in Charleston or the surrounding areas. Every employee was pleasant and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. As a big tea fan this was such an educational and a pleasant experience. From the store employees to the Trolley Driver, we were greeted with a neighborly attitude. The gift shop was a wonderful shopping experience with reasonable prices and a wide selection. Sip all the hot or cold tea you want. The factory tour is an automated show where you just move from screen to screen. The factory does not function on the weekend, so we didn't see any operations. The Trolley driver gave us all the information we needed on the trolley ride and she was quite funny!!
Four seniors stopped to see the only tea gardens in the USA. Took the factory tour first and that explained the process of what happens after the tea leaves are picked. Then we took the 45 minute tour through the fields. The tickets are discounted $2 for veterans an AAA members.
Ellen was extremely knowledgeable and very willing to share her knowledge about tea🥰 We’d come back!
We had an enjoyable day visiting the Charleston Tea Garden. We took the trolley tour which was very interesting and included a tour of the greenhouse, to learn more about the farm. Free of charge was a film about tea making, tea sampling and visiting the gift shop. So many delightful items
Great tour. Ellen was super knowledgeable and really fun. I learned far more than I thought I would. Super nice people
