The driver was very nice. He told us the history about Naples and when we got to Sorrento he stopped so we could capture the beautiful view.
Raffaele, our tour driver was awesome and so helpful. He communicated ahead of time that if we did not already have tickets and a guide for Pompeii that we should take care of that. I purchased tickets, but not a guide. Rafaele was easy to find when we arrived at the airport. He gave very helpful tips on the Tour of Pompeii and many other things. He assisted us in securing a guide when we arrived at Pompeii and continued to communicate via cell phone. The only complaint I have is that I found Viator was misleading regarding Pompeii. I thought when we spent over $500 that the tour was included. I was not happy about that!
Compared to other transportation companies, we paid hundreds of euros more, and the van was not very comfortable. The driver tried his best, he spoke very very little English, but he had a handheld translator. It works, but was a bit awkward conversation. Again, no complaints about the driver’s demeanor, or timeliness. Just little things that were amplified by the €375 daytime fare. (Compared to our €175-ish return fare to Naples (with overnight charge).
Hi Drew, Obviously booking directly with a company and not through a broker you can save money but I don’t think I have to tell you that, regarding the service received, your train had a huge delay and we decided to provide the transfer searching a colleague available also if it was possible to cancel it without refunding anything, instead of a thanks you, we received a 3 stars review but that’s ok, other reviews, all the other reviews have 5 stars, that means that clients know that they pay for the best service and flexibility. Great way to relax on the way from Naples to Sorrento. The roads are not for the weak and I'm glad my family had an experienced local driver to get us to our hotel comfortably.
Gianluca was so professional , educated and very well at helping us with some places , restaurants , was able to explain from each corner the history part of the towns we visited . A wonderful experience , you name it .

Excellent experience. Francisco was professional and wonderful. Picked us up at the boat and travel to Rome. . Stopped at winery which was wonderful. Went into Rome with ease and very helpful with suitcases Definitely will call for next trip.
Driver was excellent! He even pointed out certain landmarks, like Mount Vesuvius, and talked about some of the history. It was a very pleasant ride from Naples to Sorrento
We used Martina, for transfer from Naples to Sorrento… she was brilliant, very good English, gained from two years living in Britain.. the traffic was very busy due to it being an Italian bank holiday. She tried several other routes and got us there smoothly. A very good driver! Thx for a stress free journey and lovely to meet you!
Francesco was great, texted me ahead of time to say he was there, sent me a picture with my name sign to know what to look for and was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend this service, great experience.
