This was by far the best experience we had in Italy ❤️ food was fantastic but the best part was meeting Simona and her mom Carolina. Simona was very fun sharing the Italian culture and stories about their family. Definitely recommend this cooking experience in Como
We had an amazing pasta-making experience during my bachelor party weekend in Italy. We received a very warm welcome and felt comfortable from the start. The class was fun, well organized, and a truly memorable experience. Making our own pasta and enjoying it afterward was the perfect highlight. Highly recommended😍
We attended this ravioli-making class on May 24th as part of a friend‘s bachelorette celebration, and it was a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed into their home by Simona and her mother Carolina, who guided us through the entire class. The experience was not only informative but also incredibly fun. We genuinely learned how to make ravioli from scratch, and sharing the meal together afterwards was the perfect ending. What stood out most was the family‘s kindness and hospitality. Simona and Carolina made us feel completely at home, and you can truly feel the passion and love they put into this experience. For us, it was a 10/10 experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for something special to do in Como.
This pasta course was a highlight! From the first minute, I felt at home. The leader was warm, open, and always available for a conversation. You could talk to her about anything, which made the atmosphere even more personal and relaxed. I can only highly recommend this course.
We took Carolina and Simona’s “Lombardy and its flours” class while on our trip to Lake Como and it was one of the highlights of our trip. They allowed us into their beautiful home and taught us more than how to make three amazing dishes. They also shared their love and knowledge of their culture and a little history of the region and how it’s shaped the food in the Lombardy region.
Had a fab night, the hosts were absolutely lovely and we really enjoyed the class.
This was a 1/1000 experience. You can see that Simona & Carolina really enjoys teaching and sharing their food. I would recommend this to everyone.
Great experience! The home course to learn how to cook homemade ravioli was really special. Excellent welcome, family atmosphere and lots of passion transmitted step by step. Simona and her mom were wonderful: helpful, patient and very competent. An authentic experience that I absolutely recommend to those who love traditional cuisine
I booked this cooking class with Simona and Karolina to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and I have to say — it turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time! From the start, Simona was incredibly communicative and thoughtful. She even followed up with me on WhatsApp when I didn’t reply on the platform to make sure all my questions were answered. She provided clear instructions for how to reach the venue, which was easy to find and only about 10 kilometers from Como city center. For those without a car, they even offer a convenient pickup service from Como Central. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed into their beautiful and inviting home. Simona and her mother, Karolina, immediately made us feel comfortable and part of their family. The class was not only hands-on and well-organized but also deeply informative. Both Simona and Karolina are extremely knowledgeable — not just about the recipes themselves, but also about the cultural and historical background of each dish. Throughout the session, we enjoyed engaging conversations — they were genuinely interested in our stories and happily shared their own. Despite the language difference, Karolina’s warmth transcended words. Her kindness and motherly care made us feel right at home. We even had the pleasure of meeting their adorable toy poodle, Carlotta, who added even more joy to the afternoon! The experience was beautifully curated from start to finish. We began by preparing desserts and then moved on to making fresh pasta. Karolina prepared the sauce herself, made from their own home-grown tomatoes, and served us steaming hot pasta while we enjoyed red wine at the table. Every bite was absolutely delicious — a true taste of Italian home cooking. Overall, I would give this experience a 10/10. It was heartwarming, authentic, and full of joy. I will be recommending this class to everyone — friends, family, and anyone visiting Como. It’s an absolute must-do!
We were greeted by Simona who, by the way, not only is a great communicator on WhatsApp but helped us with the car park machine. We were then introduced to Simona’s Mum Carolina who spoke a little word of English but clearly had the knowledge and the know how. Simona & Carolina gave us some clear instructions on how to make raviolis and were also very supportive, especially as this was our first ever attempt. If I were to be over critical, I think, to make the experience complete, we could have also made the actual filling. We then enjoyed the fruit of our labour as Carolina cooked the raviolis with brown butter which was delicious. I guess the cherry on the cake was the adorable 2-year toy poodle called Carlotta!
