I did not enjoy the tour. Our tour guide was unprofessional. Her attempts at comedy didn’t land. Part of her routine was flirting and making inappropriate comments to the women and men who were with their partners. She used unnecessary cursing. Her behavior made my group uncomfortable. She thought one of her coworkers was being unprofessional and she reprimanded the young lady in front of us . She then talked about the incident for 10 minutes of the tour. We walked out and left. The other groups who had another tour guide seemed to enjoy the tour maybe we just lucked out
Cindy was awesome, friendly, and very knowledgeable! Also loved her alter ego Jessica. We would definitely visit again.
I was about 10 minutes late due to traffic but Sparkles and the rest of the team allowed me to join the tour with no problems. A lot of good information about the distillery and a lot of good rhum!
We arrived early enough that we were switched to an earlier tour without a problem. Everyone here was lovely. Julia is just the best tour guide! I loved the history and anecdotes she gave on the tour. Julia really personalized the tour and gave lots of connections to the different islands. The rums were delicious and we were given lots of options for individual tastes. There was no hard sell, just letting us know what was allowed for checked luggage and what was allowed for carry on. Other than that and just letting us know what prices different items were that was it! I absolutely detest a tour that ends in a hard sales pitch and this was more of a passing mention. That makes me want to buy more from Toppers. Great place and wonderful people and outstanding rum!
Topper’s rum tasting tour was a very lively and fun experience. Our Host Sparkles made our experience memorable. She gave us some history and was very enthusiastic &energetic. She surprised us with a cooking demonstration and the chicken was very tasty. It’s not a full meal but just a tasting to demonstrate how you can incorporate Toppers rum into your recipes.
Perfect way to start off my trip! Our Guide Teresa was amazing! She kept us entertained and kept everything fun! The drinks were flowing and the vibes were great… the restaurant was good. 10/10 will recommend. I also got to cook chicken with Rum and it was delicious.
The tour was alright. The thing that upset me is that at the end of tour they try to get you to buy their rum by telling you that you can take it on the plane. That was a lie. You have to check it in a bag. They do not tell you that. I even asked our tour guide if I could take it on the plane with me and she said yes. I believed her. She said as long as I don’t open it. Of course, at the airport, security confiscated my 2 bottles. When I reached out to the company to let them know what happened and if they could ship me the two bottles that we’re taken from me, I never heard back from them. Very poor Customer Service in my opinion.
Bring water and prepared to have a good time and to taste all the good rums! Would def go back again
The guide was so nice and very knowledgeable. Tasting 22 rum flavors was amazing. The cheesecake and pineapple were my favorite. I got some gelato and rum cake to go bc it was delicious as well.
Our tour guide was so much fun and kept the shots of rum coming! Definitely glad we did this tour before we left!
