Wat Traimit (Den Gyldne Buddhas Tempel) er et offentligt tempel, der er berømt for sit enorme Buddha-billede af guld, uformelt kaldet "Den Gyldne Buddha" i positionen for at undertrykke det onde. Dette gyldne Buddha-billede er omkring 700-800 år gammelt, da det sandsynligvis bliver støbt i Sukhothai-æraen, den tidlige begyndelse af thailandsk historie.

We had an amazing time with our tour guide Lin and driver Mr. Thomas! They customized the trip for us - we had limited mobility because of an injury - and made sure we were comfortable and looked after the entire tour. We’re going to look into some of the other tours they do while we’re here !

What a great tour — truly a highlight of the trip. Luck was a stupendous guide: incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture, while also being friendly, personable, and engaging throughout.
