Vi tilbyder en praktisk workshop, hvor du kan opleve håndlavet washi, et traditionelt japansk håndværk. Tosa Washi, med mere end 1.000 års historie, er en af Japans tre førende washi papirer. Kendt for sin styrke og varme, er det let at prøve og gør for en mindeværdig Asakusa oplevelse - perfekt for fans af håndværk eller japansk kultur. Efter en kort video om Tosa Washis historie og proces, vil du bære traditionelle arbejdstøj (samue) og lave washi postkort med hjælp fra en venlig instruktør. I både Plain Paper Plan og Colored Paper Plan, vil du håndarbejde fire almindelige postkort. Den farvede papir plan omfatter et ekstra trin: lagring af smukke Rakusuishi-lignende dekorative washi-på toppen. Du kan vælge dine fire yndlingsfarver. Workshoppen er fuld af smil og overraskelse over det færdige papirs skønhed. Tag dit håndlavede washi hjem som en speciel souvenir.

Kazu was a wonderful instructor. My friend and I took a car to Watashino and were happily greeted by Kazu. He explained everything so well and loved learning about the way washi paper was made. He had everything lined up perfectly so we could learn as well on a smaller scale. We loved our postcards we made! The gift shop attached is so cute too! Great souvenirs! Thank you Kazu and team!
This is an amazing experience! I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Japan, it was such an interesting learning experience about how washi is made and walking away with some handmade paper that we made ourselves isthe best souvenir we can possibly take home

It was a washi-making experience I had always wanted to try. It was a hot day, but I was able to experience it in a cool and comfortable atmosphere indoors, and the teacher was cheerful and talked lightly while explaining washi, which was a wonderful experience.
