This is how to build a museum/experience.. it is a single subject but so we'll done. It builds the story beautifully all the way to the tragic night. It has been designed in a thpughtful/respectful way .. some very poignant stagings. Never boring and the staff are so kind and enthusiastic. Should not be missed.
Great experience and reasonably priced
Excellent experience. Very informative with lots of good though provoking exhibits. Well worth visiting.
Neither my partner nor I were particularly interested in visiting Titanic Belfast before our trip, but a local barman recommended it to us, and we’re so glad we decided to go. We booked our tickets through TripAdvisor and felt they were reasonably priced for everything the museum had to offer. The beginning of the museum was probably the weakest part for us. It focuses more on the history of Belfast and the shipbuilding industry rather than the Titanic itself, with lots of information boards to read. It was also very crowded when we visited, which made it difficult to take everything in. However, once we got further into the museum, we really enjoyed it. The exhibits are interactive and engaging, which was perfect for us as we’re not usually museum people! There are plenty of hands-on displays and multimedia experiences that keep things interesting throughout. One of our favourite parts was the ride that takes you through the shipyard while screens around you explain how the Titanic was built. It was great fun and something a little different from a typical museum experience. The later sections of the museum are incredibly moving and really bring home the human story behind the Titanic. We chose not to do the guided tour and still felt we’d had a fantastic experience. Overall, we’d definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Belfast. Even if, like us, you don’t think you’re particularly interested in the Titanic, you might be pleasantly surprised!

Hand held Audio equipment not easy to navigate. It malfunctioned a couple times.
Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you had trouble with the multi-media guide. Our staff would have been happy to help you on the day. I hope this didn't have too much of an impact on your visit. Overrated, waste of time and money. Reading boards, video runs and a 25 minute wait for a 5 minute ride in a cable car ride that was uninteresting. Not very well laid out and god forbid if this place has a full on amount of visitors. We went on a Monday and even then it felt congested. Paid over £40 for a two hour drag for 2 people which was quite frankly rubbish. Don’t believe the hype about this place.
Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the Titanic Experience did not meet your expectations. Our aim is to give a full, well-rounded history of RMS Titanic and the city that built her, through different media and interactive displays and we find that most visitors enjoy this experience. I am also sorry to hear that you felt the Titanic Experience was too busy during your visit. We have strict procedures in place to ensure the safety of our guests and staff and measures are in place to manage visitor flow including advance booking, controlled timeslots and capped capacities to ensure that visitor levels are kept as comfortable as possible. However, we do understand that everyone’s comfort level with busy places can differ. It is an incredibly well done museum About the building of the titanic. Timed entry helps with crowds and there are various ways to explore. I enjoyed learning about the local people who helped create it. Each detail is well designed from the size of the building to the layout of where the ship was outside the windows. The last room where they have the skeleton of the ship and transition from the wreck at the bottom of the ocean back to the stories of the people aboard is just stunning.
Thank you for your feedback. I’m pleased to see that you had such a great visit with us, and that you enjoyed the history and the Ship of Dreams gallery. The "experience" is mostly documentation of the construction and maiden voyage of the Titanic , most of which I already knew. Not bad but borderline boring (and very crowded IN JUNE).
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent visit to Titanic Belfast. Whilst we do incorporate a variety of interpretive panels throughout the galleries to tell the story, guests also tend to enjoy our interactive displays, the Shipyard Ride, our glass floor and virtual tour, as well as state-of-the-art projections and LED scale model of the Ship of Dreams, which are usually the top-rated elements providing an immersion experience. A really excellent museum experience - world-class, and also sensitive to the tragedy itself. The only disappointment was the ride in the middle. That is a lot of investment for nothing much. Compare it to the ride experience in the Jorvik in York, and there's no comparison. My favourite experience though was the room where the projection takes you vertically up to the top deck. Simple, but extremely engaging. Some of the artifacts, such as the life jacket worn by a passenger that died, and the pocket watch that had stopped at the time it hit the water, were poignant and mesmerising. The whole experience was very clean and well staffed by friendly and helpful people. It is definitely worth the bait and also surprisingly good value.
Thank you so much for your feedback about your visit. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us, particularly the projection of the different decks and hope we can welcome you again in the future. I had always wanted to visit the museum and it did not disappoint but exceeded all my expectations. Not only was it informative, but the story telling was beautifully done. I did not realise it was so interactive and the sights and sounds engaged all my senses to help me really understand and feel what it must have been like from the building of the Titanic to its ending. The final experience of the sinking of the Titanic was exceptional and was incredibly emotional, I can honestly say I have never before been moved to tears in a museum before. The music was so beautiful. I could visit the museum over and over and not get bored. Fabulous place.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such positive feedback! I’m pleased to hear that we were able to exceed your expectations. We would love to welcome you back again in the future. We always strive to ensure our visitor experience is of a high standard and I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit with us!
