Although beautiful, I expected much more. The route of the visit is not marked at all and you can wander aimlessly.
The aquarium is beautiful. It is hot, so you have to go with a good attitude, but it is totally worth it.
Personally, we did have a great experience at the aquarium, from seeing the penguins to the bird show and the sea lion. For the animal exhibits they have quite a few times; we arrived at 9am and caught them all, the bird flight, we saw Tito the sea lion. The thing is that the price is excessive, almost 700 pesos directly at the aquarium ticket office per adult, and about 500 pesos for a child. And if you want to feed the animals it is an extra cost, for example for the capybaras 80 to enter and 40 pesos to feed them. Oh, and if you want a photo, 120 pesos extra per person, that part was not to my liking, but oh well. *Buy your tickets online, on the official aquarium website. I couldn't. It was a place on our list to visit in Mazatlán, we were happy to pay for it. We loved it

The Aquarium was excellent! There was a little bit of confusion regarding the ticket voucher process but it all worked out.
It's a huge concrete structure with a few fish, admission was free with resort fee but an hour taxi ride was not worth it. Mostly run of the mill displays, although a couple were cool. Penguins and sea lion were closed.

Great experience in the aquarium! My boy (3 years) had a lot of fun and we enjoyed the whole family. Super recommended for all ages.
