Fisrst stop for en kort pause på den panorama glas balkon i Boga Valley
Toppen af Thore er det højeste punkt på vejen til Thethi (1700m), hvor du måske har et stop for en kaffepause med den mest fantastiske udsigt over toppe i omgivelserne.
Den første vandretur for dagen til det blå øje i Kaprre begynder i Nderlysa, en lille, malerisk landsby nær Theth. Sporet er moderat og tager omkring 2 timers tur rundt, der fører dig gennem rolige skove, stenede stier og langs klare bjergstrømme. Højdepunktet er at nå Blue Eye, en fantastisk turkis spring omgivet af frodig grønt og mos dækket sten virkelig en magisk sted i hjertet af de albanske alper! Efter vandreturen har vi en frokostpause (valgfri ikke inkluderet), hvor vi kan smage det traditionelle køkken i en af de lokale familier i dalen.
Turen starter fra Grunas Canyon mod vandfaldet. Turen tager ca. 50-60 minutter, afhængigt af dit tempo. Nyd den rolige omgivelser, med lyden af flydende vand og fuglesang ledsager dig. Vandfaldet er en fantastisk 30 meter kaskade, omgivet af mosede klipper og livlig vegetation. Det er et perfekt sted at slappe af, tage billeder og nyde den forfriskende tåge fra faldene.
Den ikoniske kirke Theth er en charmerende og historisk betydningsfuld landemærke beliggende i hjertet af Theth landsby, inden for de albanske alper. Bygget i 1892, er denne sten og shingle kirke et vidnesbyrd om regionens rige kulturelle og arkitektoniske arv. Låsetårnet i Theth, også kendt som "Kulla e Ngujimit", er et fascinerende historisk og kulturelt landemærke beliggende i landsbyen Theth. Dette befæstede sten tårn er dybt forbundet med traditioner og historie i det nordlige Albanien, især "Kanun af Lekë Dukagjini", et sæt sædvanlige love, der har styret regionen i århundreder.

Very nice day trip. Nice hikes, beautiful nature, nice lunch, nice spots for photos, clear info Our guide, Marjan, did super well: warm welcome, careful driver, experienced guide, gave a lot of extra info about the places we visited, last stop was a nice hidden slice with a beautiful view! We really enjoyed this day and were very impressed with all the beauty that the blue Eye and Teth has to offer!
Had a very nice excursion with our guide Marjan. He arrived at the pre-arranged location on time. Communication via whatsapp went smoothly. He drives very calm and collected. He walks with the hikes to the blue eye and the waterfall and is very helpful. If you want to visit Teth and the surrounding area in 1 day then this excursion is highly recommended.
Best day tour I've ever done and highlight of my 2 weeks in the Balkans! Our guide (Marjan) was incredible. He was extremely communicative beforehand. If he offers to modify the tour in any way, accept! There are varied pickup locations close to your accommodation and the van has great AC and comfy seats. Safety is the top priority the whole time - from driving to hiking. In addition to being knowledgeable and fun, Marjan ensured we were fed, hydrated, rested, and hiking safely. Every spot on the itinerary is thoughtfully crafted. We especially loved the spot for lunch. An absolute must do when in Shkoder, especially if you have limited time in northern Albania and/or don't want to do the entire Valbona/Theth hike. This tour hits all the highlights without the overnight hike.
We reached out to Marjan because we had some questions about the hikes to the Blue Eye and the Grunas waterfall. Marjan took the time to figure out how he could best fit our needs. The result was a truly amazing day. Our guide (and experienced 4x4 driver) was Vilson and we were very safe in his care. He knows perfectly were the paths are a bit more challenging and was looking out for us every step of the way. It was just a really fun and interesting day filled with experiences and views that took our breath away.
I booked this trip with a friend while visiting Shkodër, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. The experience was absolutely amazing and definitely worth it. There was quite a lot of walking, but every step was rewarded by the breathtaking scenery of Theth National Park and the unique atmosphere of the village. Our tour guide was very well organized, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about Theth and its history. He shared fascinating information throughout the tour, making the experience both enjoyable and informative. The trip concluded with a visit to a beautiful church, which was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
Marjan was an excellent guide and driver! He had a great lunch spot picked out in the shade and took the hikes at a comfortable pace, ensuring everyone was doing well and offering rest breaks whenever needed. He also was an excellent photographer and videographer and always offered to take pictures for everyone. He made the whole day fun and added nice conversation on the drive that made time pass by quickly. Thanks so much for a fun day of hiking in the heat with a refreshing dip in the very cold water ending with the historic church visit. I would highly recommend this tour with Marjan. The group size is small which was perfect and he takes pride in his job and his passion for this work shows.
Vilson was a terrific guide! He was kind, flexible, and easy to talk to. We learned a lot about Albanian culture and history from him. The sites were stunning! An unforgettable experience.
This was a very enjoyable visit to Theth. The guide Marjan (also the driver) was excellent, the scenery was stunning and the restaurant chosen for lunch was amazing. Highly recommend.
Great experience to see the sights stouts Theth. A fun day trip that is planned well and the service is exceptional.
One not to miss. The fact that it is a small group adds to the experience. There were couples, single travellers and friends on this trip, and within 5 mins we were all laughing and getting to know each other. Marjan is so insightful and helpful on top of being an amazing driver on these local roads. The hikes are manageable with proper footwear, as Marjan gives you a rest when he sees anyone needing one. He has worked hard at building up his business and it is clear to see why all who go give great reviews. Visiting the Blue Eye of Theth, then onto Grunasi Waterfall and lastly to iconic church at Theth is one you will want to experience and honestly it was made even more authentic by having Marjan, guide and explain some of the history of the region. Of all my trips in Albania over the past nearly 4 weeks, this one was amazing.
