Spis din vej rundt i Stockholm på denne 4-timers vandretur med en lokal guide! Udforsk Stockholm og Gamla Stan (Gamla Stan), og lær om udviklingen af det svenske køkken, fra de dage, hvor røgede rensdyr og elg var hverdagens hovedprodukter til det moderne køkken. Forkæl dine smagsløg på byens ældste marked, Östermalms Saluhall, og lad dem slippe af med ultra-rig varm chokolade, lækre skaldyr og din egen 'fika' - Sveriges yndlingskaffe og søde delikatesser kombination.

Med udgangspunkt i Östermalm-området, populariseret af de rige og berømte, introducerer vi dig traditionerne for svensk mad. Fra rig aromatiseret og udsøgt ost til vildtkød. Oven på det øl, der er kronet som ”Guldet i Norden”. Du får en rød tæppe som infusion i en verden af svenske lækkerier i den høje ende Östermalms Market Hall. På vej mod hjertet af byen lader du dig forkæle med en traditionel svensk frokost. Undervejs introducerer vi dig også kronjuvelen i vores stolte nordiske køkken; kødbollen! Du lærer, hvilke typer kartofler der skal serveres med det, hvorfor vi har specifikke syltetøj til det og andre sjove fakta. Ved at gå videre vil vi guide dig gennem den smukke Kings Garden. Vi vil passere det område, som Vogue Magazine kåret til ”det tredje fedeste distrikt i verden”. Turen afsluttes i den gamle bydel, et område, der kan dateres tilbage til det 13. århundrede og består af middelalderlige gyder og arkitektur. Her behandler vi dig med nogle traditionelle slik og slik.

We had a really nice time with Theresa as the host of our food tour. She was obviously from Stockholm and had a real passion for the food she was introducing us to. The variety was good, including venison, meatballs (obviously), traditional fish dishes, licorice and finally cinnamon rolls and coffee. The first 80% of the tour is concentrated in 2 upscale food halls and the final stop is in the old town. We finished feeling satisfied but not stuffed.

Great tour ,leader fantastic ,great food selection walking ,totally worth it .Only problem I bought some expensive jam and was told it would get through customs .The idiots at customs would let me through .

The tour was exceptional. At eachs stop we tried different foods and learnt new things about the city and its culture. The guide was exceptional and also dealt with my dietary preferences very well which ensured I did not miss out on any of the stops. As a solo traveller I felt very welcome by the group . Along with the food there was matching refreshments which helped on a warm day.

If you are visiting Stockholm, you need to take a tour with Cotton! He was outstanding, warm, and highly informative. My wife and I loved the deep dive into Swedish culture, food, wine, and beer. It was an incredible educational experience that left us inspired to come back and explore even more. We highly recommend this tour. You must request Cotton!

Our guide, Cotton, was extremely knowledgeable about the preparation and sourcing of all the foods we tasted. He also shared a lot about swedish customs. It was a fast paced tour because the 3 destinations were not close by and we had to arrive at each on time- probably a km apart. One destination was closed (Monday), but the shop keeper provided a lot of samples for us to have at the last spot. We had 18 in our group and when samples were provided people did not step aside after getting a sample, so it was a bit of a squeeze to reach past them. It would have been helpful if the guide reviewed a protocol to make this easier for all to enjoy. Bring your own napkins as it doesn't seem to be an automatic offering--maybe it's a cultural thing?

Matt was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about both the food and the city. Food choices were tasty, except perhaps the black licorice!! Highly recommend this tour

We have done food tours in various countries and this was one of the worst, even though it was rated highly. The first three tastings took place in a food hall, standing up, not sitting down and really getting any information about what we were eating or interaction with the other tour members. The tour guide seemed like she really did not want to be there and was very unapproachable and not attentive to the tour group or content. The food was minimal for the price we paid and not that good. Go to Mc Donald’s
