Be punctual as it is a full on and thoroughly enjoyable day. There is a coffee break at Vito’s cafe and lunch stop. Our guide explained everything so well coupled to great insight as to what went on during filming.
Wonderful and full of information about the movies setup and cast. Alessio was so informative and made the trip so much fun.
Peter did a wonderful job on this tour. He made sure to show us movie clips from the movie at all the spots where the movie was filmed and was part of the tour. He was very well mannered,knowledgeable and took very good care of us . The visit to Castello de Schiavi and meeting the owner of the house who was only 28 when the Godfather 1 was filmed. A must see for all the fans of the movie when you are in Catania.
It was such a surreal and unforgettable experience touring the filming locations. I appreciated the convenience of the pick-up / drop-up off close to my hotel. Peter was a wonderful guide, very pleasant and friendly. He's very knowledgeable about the film and told us some interesting behind the scenes stories and anecdotes about the making of the film. The pace of the tour was relaxed and enjoyable. There was plenty of time to take it all in and take photos. I find Savoca and Forza d' Agro stunning and I immensely enjoyed the time at Castello degli Schiavi and meeting the Baron who was very welcoming. Thank you Peter and team for the wonderful and memorable experience! I highly recommend this tour and if you're a fan, you don't want to miss this!
It was as good as advertised and even better. Carmelo was and is the best tour guide. He taught me a few things about the Godfather, and I thought I knew it all! We met the owner of the mansion Michael hid out at in Sicily and he made the tour that much better. Barone was beyond welcoming, he made our day. I would strongly recommend the private tour. We saw everything as promised and got to go to Taormina for lunch as well. We got back to our boat perfectly on time! I can't recommend this tour enough. Ask for Carmelo! The pictures we have were largely staged by the 85 years young, Barone. 6 STARS FOR THIS TOUR!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My god the tour was surreal, it took us sometime to unwind and get grounded. Our guide Peter was an absolute wonder. He literally took us into the life of Michael Corleone and we lived the movie. The tour was great, a dream come true but peter added so much value. So much passion for his job. We wish him well.
This is an excellent tour and the add on of Castillo degli Schiavi is well worth it. Carmelo, our guide is a gem !
