It was my first ever Thai cooking lesson. The cooking class with Thai Akha is absolutely amazing from start to finish. I was picked up in my hotel on time and drove to a local market to get the freshest ingredients with Mor whom is one of the very nice chief from Thai Akha. All ingredients are all well prepared, the venue is very clean, spacious and tidy. All the equipments are cleaned and ready to be used. We have learned and cooked total 11 dishes, and we get to eat all of them ( don't worry they give us breaks in between😂). I have never cooked Thai food before and I am very happy with the outcome of the hard work today. Niti is the head chief who is attentive and professional. Not only she taught us cooking , she also told us about food history of different part of Thailand. At the end we got given a recipes booklet listed all the ingredients with pictures and details. I would highly recommend Thai Akha if you ever come to Chaing Mai for a great experience in cooking.
Our host On was SO AMAZING. Couldn’t recommend her enough she was so much fun and made the whole group interact and laugh together. Her co chef Mo was also amazing. The food was sooo good. We left feeling soooo full. Ate and made such amazing delicious food. Very very good value for money. If you are looking for a cooking class you must do this one 10/10 recommend. They give you a physical cook book and a gift at the end. They allow you to bring your own drinks as well as purse there. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough. They do free pick up and drop off from hotels.

Amazing experience! Got to try all sorts of different authentic foods and was so much we couldn't even finish and had to take some home! Would absolutely recommend to anyone that would like to learn how some basic Thai cooking skills!
What a fun way to spend a half a day in Chiang Mai. Aun was so funny and informative as a chef. We had a blast going through the market and trying different snacks. All the food we made was delicious and it was fun to do it all on your own. You cook and prepare so many dishes in comparison to other classes. Great for the price. Highly recommend!
Come hungry because you're going to be eating a lot of great Akha/Thai food that you cook yourself. No stress, they talk you through everything. Very enjoyable, highly recommend.
Teacher's class was very serious and also very fun! Very cheap but can be eaten very full, learn a lot of local food to do, also tell a lot of stories, very recommended.
A great experience! From picking us up at the hotel to dropping us off, it was great. We did the evening class, which started promptly at 5 & we finished around 9pm. Our instructor was a lot of fun and also a very good teacher. We accomplished 11 dishes & we were able to choose which to do in some of them, but we got instructions on the differences between all of them. She also taught us about the Ankha. The cooking area was very nice & we had plenty of space.
Aon was amazing! The class was easy, entertaining and super informative! Highly recommend to try some local cuisine and learn about chiang mai, Akha and Lanna.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cooking area was very nice. All of the utensils and materials were set up for us and the instructions wereclear. The food was very tasty. We also got a glimpse of the culture.
