Tenerife: Bananplantage og vinsmagning på en vingård

På denne halvdagsudflugt til det sydlige Tenerife vil du opdage øens mest autentiske smagsoplevelser og dens berømte vine. Derudover vil du vende tilbage til din indkvartering med tilstrækkelig tid til at fortsætte med at nyde resten af dagen. Vi starter med et besøg på en bananfarm, hvor du lærer om den traditionelle dyrkning af kanariske bananer og smager på lokale produkter. Vi fortsætter vores rejse langs bjergveje med fantastisk natur, indtil vi når Lagar de Chasna-vingården. Der vil du nyde en vinsmagning ledsaget af et udvalg af typiske kanariske snacks, perfekt til at opdage den lokale gastronomi. Efter denne gastronomiske og ønologiske oplevelse begynder vi vores hjemrejse.

Under besøget vil du lære på første hånd, hvordan et af øernes mest symbolske produkter, bananen, dyrkes, såvel som andre lokale frugter, samtidig med at du opdager en landbrugsmodel, der er respektfuld over for miljøet og i harmoni med naturen. Til sidst vil vi nyde en lækker smagsprøve på friske produkter dyrket på selve gården.
Vi fortsætter rejsen og nyder den vidunderlige udsigt fra bjergvejen mod Vilaflor. Der ankommer vi til Chasna-vingården, hvor vi vil nyde en vinsmagning ledsaget af en lækker snack med typiske kanariske produkter, så du kan nyde det bedste af øernes køkken. På denne måde sætter vi prikken over i'et på udflugten ved at nyde en unik atmosfære blandt vinmarker og traditionelle smagsoplevelser.

The Margarita Banana Plantaion was very interesting and explained well with little tasters.Then on to Chasna Winery with wine tasters and canarian snacks.Well explained again and the drive up to it was a treat.Peyer our guide was excellent indeed.Their was nothing he didn't know and kept us all safe.

This was one of the most interesting tours we have been on. Peter is a superb guide and has a wicked sense of humour. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. It was excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend this trip. The coach was clean,comfortable and modern.

We enjoyed learning about the banana’s as well as all the different types of wines with various snacks.
Juan was very nice and gave us a lot of interesting information. The first wine tasting could have been saved, as the second one is 6 wine tastings - that's completely enough. Great hospitality at the second winery!

We had mostly a really great time during this excursion. Our tour guide was interesting, and very passionate about Tenerife and Canarian products. We visited a banana plantation, which was interesting and a nice experience. The lunch visit to ‘ Bodega Lagar de Chasna’ was excellent, it was beautiful wine, great lunch, and a wonderful experience. The first winery visited ‘ Mencey de Chasna’ was disappointing, it was not interesting and the business owner had a horrible attitude. She did not want the tour group there, it was awkward and not a good experience. Similarly the aloe vera farm at the end is simply a sales pitch and shop, it was not interesting. I would overall recommend this experience however I think the tour company should consider changing some of the businesses visited as not all are enjoyable
A highly recommended excursion through the combi banana plantation, two wineries and aloe vera farm. The food was also delicious. No five points due to the very long bus ride, as the locations are far apart, plus the high traffic volume. The last stop at Aloe Vera Farm could be omitted. Especially noteworthy are the guide Peter, who did a great job and was very entertaining, as well as our bus driver.

The banana farm and second bodega were interesting. We showed up 10 min early to our meeting spot and our tour guide was rude about us being late. If we needed to be at the spot earlier then they should have notified us. He was knowledgeable about the things we saw but the first bodega owner seemed disinterested in us being there and it would have been good to hear from the winery staff more about their wines.
