Great experience with courty side

The Temple and Tales of the Kakatiyas tour is an exceptional heritage experience that brings alive the grandeur, devotion, and brilliance of the Kakatiya dynasty. Covering the iconic Ramappa (Rudreshwara) Temple, Thousand Pillars Temple, and Warangal Fort, this journey offers a perfect blend of architecture, history, and storytelling. The Ramappa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is truly breathtaking. Its intricate carvings, finely sculpted pillars, and unique lightweight brick roof stand as a testament to the advanced engineering and artistic excellence of the Kakatiyas. The serene surroundings and timeless beauty make it a deeply spiritual and awe-inspiring experience. The Thousand Pillars Temple showcases extraordinary craftsmanship with its star-shaped design and richly carved pillars. Every detail reflects the precision and devotion of Kakatiya artisans. Walking through the temple feels like stepping into a living museum of stone art and sacred geometry. The journey concludes at Warangal Fort, where the majestic stone walls and the iconic Kakatiya Kala Thoranam narrate powerful stories of royal pride, resilience, and urban planning. Exploring the fort gives a vivid picture of the political, cultural, and military strength of the Kakatiya kingdom. What truly elevates this experience is the storytelling—each monument is brought to life through engaging tales of Kakatiya rulers, queens, architects, and warriors, making history both relatable and memorable. Overall, Temple and Tales of the Kakatiyas is a must-do tour with Expertise Guide Mr Srinu a great storyteller, archeology and his history knowledge is fantastic for heritage lovers, history enthusiasts, and cultural explorers. It leaves you with a deep sense of pride and admiration for Telangana’s rich past and the timeless legacy of the Kakatiya dynasty.

Wonderful experience

Wonderful experience learning about the Kakatiyas. Visited the Ramappa temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple carries a lot of history and I learnt so much thanks to my guide. It was an experience like no other. Takes one way back to the 12th century when the temple was built. This UNESCO monument is a must visit. You’ll go home more knowledgeable than you left 🤭 I also had the opportunity to visit The Thousand Pillar Temple which is dedicated to three deities namely Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Surya. Being a person who is open to learning and understanding other religions, this excursion meant a lot to me. Our last stop was the Warangal Fort which served as capital of the great Kakatiya rulers. Come with an open mind to learn a lot of history. I can’t miss to appreciate my guide Mr. Sainath the historian 🤭 This man understands his craft and is so passionate about it. He loves what he does and he is so calm, accommodating, deep and his customer service is tops. He makes understanding the history of the Kakatiyas so easy. I would highly recommend him for this excursion. This was one guided excursion I would repeat again thanks to the organizers and a very competent guide. 100% recommend.

Amazing trip to amazing temples!

We had an amazing trip to see these 3 temples of different eras. Incredibly interesting and even more special as we got blessings at each temple. Srinu was a brilliant guide and knowledgeable host and there was no question too stupid from us!! We also had a wonderful veg Thalia in Warangal. It is a long drive but worth it and you escape the craziness oh Hyderabad. Tip - wear flip flops as easy for temples and especially if it rains. If it is during Rainey season wear shorts and raincoat as you can get saturated and long trousers wet aren’t comfortable for a long day. Great day trip!
