For nylig er matcha grøn te blevet populær over hele verden. Matcha spiller en vigtig rolle i en traditionel japansk te ceremoni. Men at lære om japansk te ceremoni betyder meget mere end bare at lære at lave matcha. Hvorfor var dette en nødvendig praksis for samurai og munker i tidligere tider? Hvorfor foregår "ceremonien" stadig i dag? Kom, gå ind i en verden af dyb åndelighed og sætte din sjæl fri. 1. Introduktion: Du vil lære de grundlæggende begreber og ideer om te ceremoni. Du vil også lære at opføre sig i et te-rum og værdsætte dens dekoration. 2. Den måde at drikke te: Du vil se en demonstration af vejen til te. Vi tror, at du vil nyde den rolige og rolige atmosfære. 3. Hands-on: Lav din egen te! Vi vil fortælle dig, hvordan du drikker det, og også serverer dig en specielt udvalgt japansk kage. *Kom venligst til tiden. Vi kan ikke tillade senkommere at deltage i en session, når den er startet. *Vær venlig ikke at medbringe børn under 6 år.

Det er en enestående mulighed for at kunne bruge tid i et traditionelt machiya eller japansk byhus. Kyoto blev engang fyldt med disse enkle træhuse. Vores er omkring 80 år gammel, og vi tror, du er enig i det er stadig smukt. Kom og fordyb dig i et malerisk, men alligevel elegant rum.

We were delighted to meet the tea masters who guided us through this experience. The ceremony is very slow and thoughtful so some guests might find it tedious, but we found it relaxing and insightful to participate in Japanese culture for an hour.

We did the Tea Ceremony Experience and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the whole experience felt wonderfully authentic. Our host was warm, patient and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the meaning behind each step in a way that was easy to follow and really engaging. It was hands-on, calming and thoughtfully paced, and we left feeling both relaxed and richer for having learned something special. If you’re in Kyoto and want a cultural experience that’s memorable (not touristy), I highly recommend.

Small group experience, only 4 of us. Hostesses were lovely ladies , very welcoming and friendly. No pressure to be involved but we did, and very positive experience. Highly recommend

The hosts were so talented, meticulous doing the tea ceremony demo. And then, so kind and encouraging when helping us learning the ways of the tea. We really appreciated our time at Ami Kyoto, we would recommand 100% to anyone looking for this type of activity while traveling to Kyoto.
