Monumentet, der ligger nær Dry Bridge, skildrer livlige, udtryksfulde figurer i bevægelse, der symboliserer festivalens ånd af frihed og oprør. Det ærer Georgiens rige kulturelle traditioner og den vedvarende kraft af kunstnerisk udtryk.
Den ældste kirkebygning i Tbilisi er en treskibet basilika, der går tilbage til det 6. århundrede.
Fredens Bro, som er relativt nybygget, er en must-see attraktion i Tbilisi. En bro lavet af glas og stål i bueformet design sidder over Mtkvari (Kura)-floden i Georgiens hovedstad.
I Tbilisi er Shardeni Street en lille gågade beliggende i Upper Kala-distriktet, mellem Vakhtang Gorgasali-pladsen og Sioni Street.
Vores guide vil forklare, hvorfor Gabriadze-teatret er et interessant sted i Tbilisi. Klokketårnet står foran teatret. Du kan genkende stedets unikke arkitektur.
Sioni-komplekset består af et hegn, Himmelfartskatedralen og to klokketårne. Sioni kommer fra navnet på et helligt bjerg i Jerusalem. Det er et hebraisk ord, der betyder solskin.
Tamada-statuen i Tbilisi er en bronze skulptur af en traditionel georgisk toastmaster, der holder et vin horn (kantsi) i en klassisk toastende gestus. Beliggende i den gamle bydel nær Sioni katedral, det symboliserer Georgiens rige vin kultur og vigtigheden af supra (Georgian fest) traditioner. Statuen er inspireret af en gammel Tamada-figur fundet i Vani, der går tilbage til over 2.000 år, hvilket viser, hvor dybt forankret toastmasterens rolle er i georgisk historie.
Monumentet, skabt af den georgiske kunstner Elguja Amashukeli, står stolt foran Metekhi-kirken og stirrer ned ad floden Mtkvari (kura).

Den Store Synagoge-bygning ligger i det gamle historiske kvarter i Tbilisi. Det blev bygget fra 1895 til 1903 af georgiske jøder fra Akhaltsihe.
En kunstner ved navn David Monavardishvili lavede et smukt monument i 2016. Vi kan udforske, hvad der var inspiration for ham. Måske var det livsstilen i Tbilisi i gamle dage? Monumentet er ret imponerende, og du vil finde ud af, hvordan kunstneren har skabt det.
Vi fortsætter vores rejse med en svævebane. Toppen af bjerget kan nås med svævebane, hvor vi kan nyde en betagende udsigt.
Rike park er centrum af Tbilisi. Herfra tager vi svævebane til bjerget.
Georgiens mormonumentet stirrer stolt ned over byen. Alle georgiske kvinder er repræsenteret af monumentet.

Teona is a walking Oracle.. doesnt only know alot about the places we stopped but she can answer anything ,,also outside the subject. Thats a rare quality.
This was a fantastic walking tour and it really gave me a feel of Tblisi before going to explore on my own. Teona had a wealth of knowledge, delivered in a fun and interesting way!

Teona was an excellent guide, with a deep knowledge of the history of Tbilisi and a real passion for what she does. He guided us not only to the well-known sights, but also to hidden corners of the city that were pleasant surprises. The experience was perfectly organized and very interesting from beginning to end. Had a great walking tour on a sunny morning with Teona. She took us round and explained a lot while keeping it interesting, as well as having a good + coffee break which was much appreciated! I was travelling solo and met some nice people on the tour who I travelling with for the following days. Would recommend highly!!
