Selv om der er forskellige historiske landemærker i Armenien, er den ældste og mest kendte sandsynligvis den bibelske bjerg Ararat. Et sted, der ikke kan gå glip af, mens i Armenien er Tatev Kloster, som engang var Armeniens uddannelsesmæssige og åndelige centrum. Det er bygget på et højt plateau i Vorotan-fløften, og er omgivet af betagende bjerge og tætte skove. Du kan nå her på ridning af verdens længste kabelbane Wings of Tatev.

Khor Virap-klostret ligger omkring en times kørsel fra hovedstaden Jerevan og tilbyder en fantastisk udsigt over Armeniens definerende symbol - det majestætiske Ararat. "Khor Virap" oversættes som "dybt fangehul", og blev bygget af stedet for det tidligere kongelige fængsel, beliggende på det historiske sted Artashat. Det var netop dette fængsel, hvor de holdt Gregory the Illuminator, de første armenske katolikker, i hele 13 år. Derfor kommer det ikke som nogen overraskelse, at dette sted er et af de mest hellige steder for armeniere rundt om i verden. Ligeledes er det også det nærmeste punkt til Mount Ararat fra Armenien; meget ofte bliver dette sted nummer 1 grund til at besøge vores land!
Turen tager dig til Fuglehulen. I 2008 opdagede arkæologer flere af verdens ældste artefakter, herunder en lædersko og en vingård. Stedet, med udsigt over Arpa-floden nær byen Areni, hævdes at dateres mest til den tidlige bronzealder (omkring 5.000-6.000 år siden). Det indeholder også beviser for omfattende begravelsesritualer og landbrugspraksis.
Bortset fra Khor Virap er et andet sted, der ikke kan gå glip af, Noravank. Det er en af ædelstenene i middelalderlig armensk arkitektur, beliggende højt blandt de fantastiske murstensrøde klipper for enden af Gnishik Canyon. Her vil du se den eneste afbildning af Gud Faderen i Armenien, som er lige så forbløffende som Jesu Kristi ansigt, der dukkede op på kuplen af Kirkens narthex. Bygget af orbelske adelsmænd, skiller den sig ud blandt vores kirker som graven for denne adelige familie, hvilket gør den unik, da det var absolut forbudt at begrave folk inde i en kirke siden det 5. århundrede.
Den længste svævebane i verden (ca. 6 km), som blev registreret i Guinness rekordbog i 2010. Under din tur vil du nyde en spektakulær udsigt over et af de smukkeste steder i Armenien (hvis ikke i verdenen).

The tour guide is very professional and very atmospheric, making it easy for everyone to interact. The car is comfortable, it is worth visiting the place, and finally go to a place selling Portuguese wine to try wine, although not my favorite taste, but still can try it, the price is reasonable.

We had a small group with Anastasia and she treated us like family. She was engaged, educational, and funny. Edgar our driver was quite impressive. The sights were stunning and the wine tasting was fun and not too long after lunch. And the spot we stop at for lunch is absolutely beautiful, on a small lake. Would do a tour with this group again!

The guide showed us wonderful places, they are super organized and precise. Lunch was also good. I did two tours with them and they both went great. Highly recommended

Armenia is stunningly beautiful and such a different country! We are very lucky to have a guide - Anastasia is insanely interesting about the history of the country and its culture. Learned a lot of new things not only within the route, but also what else must be seen in Armenia. So we're already planning our next vacation here. Recently we were on 4 excursions from this agency, visited Khor Virap and Noravanka (03.04), Delijan and Lake Sevan (05.04), Garni and Gegard (09.04) and cable car in Tatev (11.04). We were very pleased. Liked the comfortable minibuses, treats and attitude in general. We even asked once to change our schedule for two tours and the agency was happy to help us. All the guides did well, especially remember Naira Vardanyan, Jasmine and Sona. Separately I want to note Naira V. - she tried to make the stay of all tourists comfortable, suggested beautiful locations for the photo and helped with any questions. We were very lucky to take her on two tours out of four. P.S. On the bus, seats are allocated on the basis of "first come, first come, best seat", so if you do not want to sit at the end - just come to the meeting in advance. P.P.S. Boldly include lunches, feed plenty and taste good!
