På denne tur går du sammen med en lokal guide gennem kvarteret "La Latina" for at opdage dets historie gennem nogle af de mest autentiske taverner, der stadig er tilbage i Madrid. Vores mål er, at du skal have mulighed for at spille på at være lokal, mens du smager det lokale køkken. Derfor inviterer vi dig til at gå med os gennem gaderne i dette emblematiske kvarter. På denne måde vil du være i stand til at lære vores kultur, dens skikke og dens ordsprog at kende og opleve den sande magi ved at bo i denne fantastiske by. I begyndelsen af turen vil vi tale lidt om Madrids historie, hvad Østrigernes Madrid er, og hvordan historien påvirkede lokal mad. Vores mål er, at de lærer et autentisk Madrid at kende, et lokalt Madrid.
"La Latina"-kvarteret, et traditionelt kvarter, huser i dag en masse turisme, men hvis du ved, hvordan du søger, kan du finde de bedste steder. Traditionelle taverner, hvor du kan prøve de mest typiske tapas i denne by. Vi vil gøre stop forskellige steder for at smage det lokale køkken.
"Mercado de San Miguel" er det mest berømte marked, der findes i dag i Madrid. Dets besøg er et must-see, hvis det er din første gang i denne by. Og hvis du allerede ved det, skader det aldrig at besøge det igen.
På vores tur vil vi gøre et stop ved Plaza Mayor. Den mest emblematiske Plaza fundet i Madrid. Her vil vi tale lidt om denne pladss betydning for byen og dens historie.
Vores sidste restaurant ligger på Embroiderers Street meget tæt på Plaza Mayor. Der vil vi smage de seneste tapas, som vi valgte til denne tur, og ved afrejse afslutter vi turen.

Our guide Maya did an amazing job. The first stop on the trip The family restaurant Casa Paco was not a good experience, the staff did not greet and it seemed almost as if they had forgotten we came, we were served red wine in wet glasses that were not washed off properly. The other 3 stops on the trip were ok

This was a super fun food tour. Our guide, Maya, was very knowledgeable about the food we tasted and how it is prepared. She knew about the history of the area and the buildings. There were 3 different food and wine stops and each was very different, but very good. We enjoyed the walk through some neighborhoods we had not been before. The tapas all were so good, as well as the wines. We were able to taste the Spanish vermut, which was very different for us. A super nice evening with good food and a very good guide.

This was hands down one of the best experiences I had in Madrid. The food was absolutely incredible, and Maia’s passion for Spanish cuisine made it even more enjoyable. We visited local spots I would’ve never found on my own, and the service throughout the tour was top-notch — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
