Grotten har to åbninger, en til havet og en til land. Havåbningen er kendt som "The Map of Africa".

Cape Spartel er et forbjerg i 300 m over havets overflade ved indgangen til Gibraltarstrædet, 12 km vest for Tanger. Nyd den spektakulære udsigt over mødestedet for Middelhavet og Atlanterhavet, og oplev Cape Spartel fyrtårn.
Tidligere kancelliet for USA's diplomatiske mission til Marokko, det var den første amerikanske offentlige ejendom i udlandet og er det eneste amerikanske nationale historiske vartegn beliggende i et fremmed land.
Et kompleks af slotte med panoramaudsigt over havnen og byen. Sultanen Moulay Ismail byggede sit palads kaldet Dar el Makhzen, og haverne er en del af hans palads fra det 17. århundrede.

Excellent excursion! With our guide Mohamed! A 10, all super interesting, the experience with the camels was great and the kids had a great time.
We were picked up by Abdul from the cruise port, he started taking us some sights, after an hour and a half, he tells us he’s taking us for lunch and then to meet our guide… we said thought you were our guide, he said no, I am just your driver , we will meet your guide after lunch…we were supposed to have a guide for 5 hours… he dropped us in the old city, down cobblestone steps deeper and deeper into small alleys… we had no idea what was going on… another man greeted us halfway and told us we are eating at his restaurant… it was only 11:30am and we had just been on the tour for an hour and a half… it was very sketchy… the driver left us and told us he’ll be back in an hour to pick us up and take us to the guide… the food was inedible and we had to pay $120 for this food we never wanted nor did we eat. The driver picked us back us and we ended the tour and told him to take us back… we paid for a 5h tour with a guide and only toured for an hour and half looking at views with a driver. Pathetic
Really nice tour. Our guide was very informative and helpful. We saw the most important places in Tangier and had a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant.
