Amazing experience. I can happily say I have booked 2 times with snorkel cook islands and both times has been great. My most recent trip I was fortuante that the group was quite small which felt more like a semi private tour. They were safe, detailed and lots of fun. I especially love that they don't polute the water by using boats.
Fantastic experience. I was quite nervous as I’ve never used a snorkel before but the team were really helpful and ensured everyone was ok with the equipment before we went out to deeper waters. They also offered floats which were really useful as it could be quite tiring swimming around for a long period.
We were recommended by friends to go with Snorkel Cook Islands. A professional crew, instructions clear, gear available, could tell how much they cared about the environment they work in. I wasn't confident with the mask and snorkel as I had never done this before, yes I know, its snorkeling, but I had to give it a go. Thanks to Mātua Charlie, he was willing to take me out. So with his support and his paddie board I held onto, Mātua Charlie took me out. He stayed with me and I stayed in the shallow part of the area. I also had a support of a pool noodle as well. He instructed me to roll onto my tummy and he took me out maybe 10/15 steps and said look down. OMG it was a ōnu (turtle), and he said she is going to come to you and she did, This will be a day I will never forget and I will forever be grateful to Mātua Charlie, yes I cried, because I never thought I would ever get a chance to see such a beautiful sight ever. My husband absolutely enjoyed it with the rest of the group, he saw many turtles and could not stop talking about his experience 💕 I highly recommend the Snorkel Cook Islands team, again very professional, kind and the refreshments after was great as well. You can tell how much they care about their environment.

We did this experience yesterday, it was fantastic, starts on island time, no rush, as they take safety seriously, well explained, humorous and super friendly. The snorkeling was incredible we saw turtles and plenty of sealife, I would recommend this experience to everyone, Rarotonga is incredible and having this type of experience while supporting small local businesses is fantastic.

The experience was exciting!! And the guides were very good. My dad (in his 70s) was having a hard time with cramps and they put him right at ease and took care of him, and reassured us they had him so we could continue to enjoy the experience.

My partner and I throughly enjoyed the swimming with the turtles experience through Snorkel Rarotonga. Instructions were very simple and straight forward, lovely staff and tour guides assisting us throughout our swim. Although meeting points were moved, we were still able to find them. We enjoyed some tasty seasonal fruits to end our tour. Would highly recommend and re-book if we ever come back. Meitaki 😍

We had the most incredible experience with the snorkel cook island lot! Their team are absolutely amazing and super informative. They ensure you are aware of everything that is going on and triple check that you are comfortable in your gear as well as making sure that you are competent enough to be able to do the experience. They are very hands on which makes it that much more comfortable, especially if you feel like you're not a great swimmer like myself. But I would 1000% recommend to add this to your bucket list. It's a whole new world under there and this isn't something you want to miss out on! Snorkel cook islands team are a fantastic bunch and I would do this all over again in a heart beat. I would also prefer to do this without the seascooters as they disrupt the creatures in the sea and it's a more authentic way to do this experience! Ditch the seascooters and come to these guys instead! They know their stuff and you won't regret it.
