Surin Islands Snorkling Day Trip Af Love Andaman Fra Khao Lak

Beautiful experience and very nice organization to live absolutely. Our Thai guide Teddy was on top, too bad the Russian geo didn't understand anything to Thailand. Congratulations to the Thais, especially stay yourself.

Very good direct contacts with the agency to organize the activity. And very good price 👌😊 Quality hotel pickup. Very good surprise with the beautiful buffet waiting for us on arrival for breakfast 👏👌🤩 Then briefing of the day by our excellent guide and his team. There were 25 of us in the boat. 110min drive to the islands with drinks (water and pepsi). And fruit later. 3 snorkeling trips of about 30 minutes in beautiful sites full of beautiful fish including clown fish ("Nemo"). Good breakfast in the form of a small buffet taken under the trees on the island of Surin Nord. Then visit the village of Mokens on the island of Surin Sud. And finally, return in 110 minutes with iced coffee or juice and a good little pastry. And on returning to base, surprised: a buffet was waiting for us again for the hungryest. Precision: the order of activities may change depending on the weather and water level.

We had a really good time on this trip. We had tried to book a private tour but no one had availability so opted for this group tour. We were lucky in that there were only 23 people in our tour- we would told it could be up to 40. The boat is small and you will be sat down for 2 hours there and back. Don’t pack too much stuff to take with you- you don’t need that much and there won’t be space. The staff were amazing, very funny and friendly. One of the crew went out with me on each of the three snorkelling stops as I wanted to go out further and dive. He took charge of my GoPro and I now have some truly amazing photos. He was also constantly pointing out different fish and sea creatures for me. We were regularly provided with cold drinks and snacks throughout, including an iced coffee and toffee cake, fruit etc. They made sure I had a specially prepared vegetarian lunch which was good. Snorkelling was for around 40 minutes at three different stops. There was also two beach stops- one to visit the Moken village and one for lunch- the swimming was great. Overall, I would really recommend this and it was a highlight of the trip. Just prepare yourself for the 2 hour boat ride there and back, and not being able to move around the boat during that time. But well worth it in my view to get to see the Surin islands.

We had a wonderful daytrip to the Surin Islands with Love Andaman. The coral reefs was healthy and there were plenty of fish and sea creatures. The main guide was very friendly and always did his best to give us the best experience. The boat was a bit more crowded than we expected, but the seats were facing foreward which is a more comfortable way to sit for 2 hours than sitting sideways. Lunch was also good:) You have to bring a lifejacket with you in the water, but you do not have to wear it. We had brought our freediving fins and it was ok to dive down and come back up by the lifejacket. Some of the reefs is quite shallow so if you are wearing fins watch the dept so you dont accidently kick the coral. We saw clownfish and that was really cool☺️

This trip was my first time to Surin Island and it was incredible experience. All the guides who took us there were super nice, helpful and friendly. The Captain was very professional and I would like to super thanks for Olivia, Ton and the other staff who gave us an unforgettable experience this time. If someone looking for a trip that’s worth your time and money I would recommend Love Andaman. Hope to join a trip with you again xoxo.

Fantastic experience. Well organized and run, nice quieter tour with only 16ish people, got to see a turtle at the final snorkeling location. Host was enthusiastic and fun.

I booked this tour 5 months before. I paid everything i had to. One month before the trip i sent a message to oohoo travel asking if everything was ok and how to know if the trip would have been done. Everything ok, they said. Just call us 2 days before to check. I called 2 days before and "sorry... we apologize... no tour is possible because our tour operator won't work until 15 days..." Really, no seriousness at all. Yes, i got a refund but i had to find a new tour in 1 day, on a weekend, and it was really hard. Why don't you send an email telling you can't do the trip??? And listen to this. If you tried to book the same trip both from tripadvisor and from their private site, you could do it. Damn, they kept accepting bookings (and money) for a service they couldn't provide! NEVER AGAIN.

Overall the trip was excellent but be warned a 2hr trip on rough seas with the noise of the engines is tough going but the rewards are breathtaking once there

Another well organised trip….islands are stunning and worth the rough sea crossing to get there! The snorkelling was wonderful and the corals very colourful….the water around the islands such a wonderful colour….staff very friendly and informative.

We booked this tour through our hotel Tui Blue and had another excellent experience as we’d booked the Similan Islands the day before!…extremely well organised and a great team looking after us. Everything very well managed from pick up to drop off back to our hotel. The food was very good, we’re vegetarians so we very well catered for. The trip to Surin took a bit longer than we had anticipated, due to weather but we still had a brilliant day. Enjoyed getting soaking wet on the boat, all part of the experience. Great snorkelling in 3 different locations. Amazing beaches!…Interesting visit to Moken village…just a shame they can’t keep their beach clean..very sad to see. I would definitely recommend this trip, great value for money. Thank you!
