-07:00 Afrejse fra Tirana/Durres til Berat.( Næsten 1 time 50 min kørsel) - Ankomst til Berat Castle. (Når vi ankommer til Berat-slottet, kommer vi til en af de vigtigste attraktioner på vores tur, hvor vi kommer til at gå rundt i det gamle historiske slot, som også er UNESCO-beskyttet)
- Gå fra slottet gennem de gamle veje til byen. (Byen er lige så storslået som slottet, vi får at nyde udsigten over Mangalemi og Gorica) - Gratis ophold i centrum af byen med guidede instruktioner. - Afgang til restauranten til traditionel frokost - Efter frokost, afrejse til Tirana / Durres. - Tilbage til det oprindelige mødested april 16:00. We booked this trip but due to insufficient numbers we were pleased to be offered a private tour, with just us and the guide Jeffry who was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly and a safe driver. We went in late October and left Tirana at 14.30 so we caught the last of the sunset when we got to Berat but it was quite dark at the end trying to look round the castle. The bridges across the river are lit up at night and very pretty.
Exploring the castle sunset is a great experience and makes for breathtaking pics. I wish we had stopped at a shop or two for souvenirs but no opportunity. The dinner suggestion at Amalie was top notch
I had Dori as a tour guide. Dori is great , I also had her two days before on the Kosovo tour. Due to the heat, the tour operator postponed the tour until evening, advised at sunset. That's great as you can see after dinner, a little consulted at night and it wasn't that hot either. The three course dinner menu was very delicious but is not included in the tour price

This tour exceeded my expectations. Berat’s charm, with its beautiful architecture is truly breathtaking. The trip was well-paced, and our guide was very cool and chill and talked with a passion about the history and culture of Berat adding also other cool stories about Albania in general. The traditional lunch was very delicious and a wonderful taste of Albanian hospitality. Everything from transport to organization went perfect, they picked us up from the hotel we were staying and the road was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore the beauty of Berat and its delicious food!
