STRAAT Museum - Museum for Street Art Amsterdam Adgangsbillet

Beskrivelse

Fantastic history of street art. The experience is well worth the visit. Highly recommend making it a stop on your visit to Amsterdam.
I love art so taking my time to look at all the street art was amazing. It was so beautiful inside and just amazing to be able to experience.
Fresh and inclusive work. My 14 year old grandson found work that spoke to him, addressed his interests and validated his experiences and endeavors. Loved it.
Amazing place!!! 🫶🤯 You should really take the time to check this out, wheather you're a graffitti lover or not-it's monumental and the place itself is worth the trip. There are free ferries running 24/7 to get you across behind cetral station.
This museum is underrated. The street art displays are huge and beautiful. Just hop on the free ferry and you'll get there in no time. It's not crowded at all and the cafe is decent for a quick break. I spent more than 2 hours there and enjoyed the visit. Totally recommended for those who want to appreciate different kinds of art.
The Straat was recommended by a friend who is a travel writer. Though it is a bit off the beaten path, it’s worth a quick ferry ride (or bus/metro) to this newly developed industrial area turned hip artists and business district. The collection is ever changing, inspiring, thought provoking and unique. With thoughtful descriptions of each piece and a few video explanations (along with guide via QR code) this is an engaging contemporary “museum” experience. You can even buy spray paint at the gift store and create your own work of art on the building exterior. Great original experience for teens too
This should be higher in the list of must visits. A quick free ferry ride to the museum. The space is spectacular! A huge old shipping warehouse that has been sensitively restored so it looks so authentic. Cafe wasn’t amazing but we didn’t mind. The art was also spectacular and the size of each piece fitted perfectly with the space. The sculpture was also amazing and would love to see more sculpture in future. A must visit in Amsterdam
Beautiful industrial space, colorful works!
for those who are not only focused on the “old masters”, this exhibition is an absolute must ! It's incredible how people with spray cans can create such works of art. I can only recommend it to anyone to view this exhibition. Ferry four is a great way to cross from the ferry port of Central Station. Not only the exhibition, but also the location manage to draw every half-art-savvy person into his band. Afterwards, the visitor can have a delicious smoothie in the small café and let the impressions sink in. An absolute recommendation from me.
Definitely recommend stopping by. 100+ murals made by street artists across the world. Truly impressive to see.
