Cruise was canceled by Celebrity with no notice. And we could not go and could not get a refund!

The palace is very impressive, but the public areas are on the second floor that was reconstructed by Mussolini in the 20th century, so what you get to tour is not the original structure. The mosaics that were installed in the upper floor (also not original to the palace) are impressive.

Even though the company said they sent all the correct links we could not use our ticket's nor could the palace staff help us. They said the booking numbers were wrong and had to repurchase them at the site. Refund on tickets was denied.

Beautiful palace to view, we were there around 12 o'clock and only stood in line for 5 minutes, lots of rooms to wander through, you have to love it, but you really feel like you have gone back in time. The gardens surrounding it are also very beautiful and fun to visit and there are also many nice little shops around it

We tried for hours to get our tickets clear and although they accepted very confusing tickets , we never did get the audio tour downloaded and ended just reading it aloud to our group

The building itself is impressive in stature & features, but the two ‘permanent exhibitions’ one of which was the billed ‘2400 Years of Rhodes’ that we were particularly interested in were non-existent! Padlocked glass doors to empty room spaces & other locked doors were all we found for 15 mins. Eventually found correct route for the parts that were still accessible to visitors (poorly signed) & this was simply a ‘circular’ walk through the upper rooms/corridors - soon became repetitive & uninteresting. Sorry but in our opinion not an experience worth the entry fee.
