The tour was very informative with a lovely hike and sights. Deneen was a delightful host and went out of her way to give us a great experience! The group I was with was great also.
Deneen was amazing. She took us to hike places we would never have been able to find without her. The scenery was so spectacular and it was so private, we only ran into 2 other people during our entire hike.
Deneen provided a beautiful scenic drive along coastal cliffs and shared historic stories. The forage walk was enjoyable and insightful.
Friendly guide, lovely drive winding through little town and beautiful walk along the coastline.

My time with Deneen was delightful. The time of year and the presence of snow/ice made an actual hike impossible - yet Deneen arranged for us to check out a few nearby fishing villages. She was super personable, kind, very generous and I sincerely forgot that I was even on a tour - it felt like I was talking to a friend. Communication was superb, she picked me up at my hotel and dropped me off at the airport after. My tour with George - her partner - a few days ago was phenomenal. And my time with Deneen was equally as rich. Will definitely be back… when it’s warmer!
Due to weather our tour option had to change, but Deneen created an amazing Plan B. We toured a less traveled coastline of Newfoundland and the views didn’t disappoint. She shared the history and taught us a couple of fun words/phrases to sound like a local. If you’re looking for an intimate and unique tour, go with Deneen.
Deneen was amazing - we actually had her to ourselves She was informative and naturally entertaining!! We absolutely loved our hike!! She went our of her way to bring me some rose hips to take home !! omg how wonderful was that!!!! Thank you so much Deneen! Cathy and Jim
Very personalized experience. Deneen listened carefully and was sensitive to my possible physical limitations, like sore knees. Very knowledgeable about the area. Newfoundland is more than a rock. Tons of interesting plant life including trees and flowers and berries of all kinds.
If you are ever lucky enough to go on a coastal tour with Deneen, magic will happen from the minute you meet her. She will bring you to the most incredible coastlines and give you insight into the area and you will leave feeling like you made a new friend. I highly recommend her coastal tour!
