Where do we start, finding a driver is overwhelming with choices. TravelLanka provided a prompt quote and very easy communication right from the beginning. Kaveen was exceptional. What a fantastic young man, taking such good care of us all. He shared lots of information, worked with our requests and added to our experience at every turn with fantastic suggestions to ensure we maximised our time. We travelled with 2 teenage boys (15 and 18) and he made sure they had an awesome time. His driving was impeccable and very safe. Nothing was too much trouble and it really made our first 8 days perfect. Thank you Kaveen for all your care and kindness.

Right from the very first message, we had a good feeling about TravelnLanka. Lahiru won us over straight away with his warm manner, his patience and his exceptional helpfulness. Kaveen was the best driver we could have hoped to find. We had the pleasure of his company for 3 days and had a great time. His advice was always the best option and we were so pleased he introduced us to shen safari for a wonderful afternoon watching elephants in Gal oya eco park. He even surprised our niece with a birthday cake! Always smiling, great sense of humour and very knowledgeable. Thanks for a great start to our sri lankan adventure. Highly recommend.

Driver appreciation post 🇱🇰 Sandun Imalsha from TravelnLanka was beyond incredible. We are a New Zealand family living in Australia, and we have just finished a 10-night trip down the southwest coast with Sandun. We have three loud and energetic boys (7, 5, and 3 years old). Sandun was absolutely amazing. He truly is a kind and genuine person with a gentle nature. He is what made our holiday extra special. He was very knowledgeable and showed us many things we would’ve otherwise missed, such as watching the local men fish from the beach using large fishing nets. Our kids were even able to join in and help pull the nets in — such a cool experience for them. He was never late! There was never a day when he wasn’t on time. Rain or shine, he was there ready to go, with bottled water in the van and a huge smile on his face. He taught our kids a fun little handshake and also taught us some Sri Lankan words that we now say to each other every time we are together. Our kids are very proud to know some of the language now and will always be reminded of Sandun. His driving was very safe and comfortable. Having three young children, this was something I worried about, but we always felt safe. His van was always clean and tidy, even with three grubby kids after a day at the beach. It was my birthday on the last day of our trip, and Sandun had decorated his van with birthday balloons, a birthday song playing through the speakers, and a delicious cake with candles!!!!!!!! It was a complete surprise and a memory I will cherish forever. It was so thoughtful of him. Last but not least, we were gifted a very sentimental present from Sandun. I have attached a photo below. It was so special that it made me cry 🥹 There were lots of emotions leaving beautiful Sri Lanka, but the hardest part was saying goodbye to our new friend, Sandun. He has left a special place in our hearts. Our kids even asked if he could come and live with us in Australia. We told them he is always welcome to visit us anytime. We miss him already and can’t wait to visit him again in Sri Lanka someday soon. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to show us around Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Stuthi 🙏

Yohan is THE BEST!!! He is very efficient, always on time, always courteous and very friendly. He knows ALL of Sri Lanka too to bottom. He gave us very good tips and made sure we saw everything we wanted to… he organised things like tickets and seats and dinners, and made sure we had the best times and positions for all. He made our trip very enjoyable. We miss him a lot and would definitely call him a good friend after our holiday. We would strongly recommend him to everyone. Before embarking on this trip I read many reviews for a local tour guide/driver. 1 name stood out @Sandun Imalsha from @TravelnLanka. From the initial WhatsApp messages with Sandun communication was easy, clear and responsive. Upon greeting us at the airport, Sandun made us feel welcome and relaxed. Sandun’s knowledge across the board was exceptional. All recommendations he made for tours, meals and places to visit could not be faulted. Over the many klms travelled we laughed a lot. Sandun drove with skill and confidence even when navigating chaotic traffic, winding and steep roads. The van was new with air conditioning. Sandun took pride in keeping the van immaculate. The van was cleaned daily with a fresh restock of bottled water. Sandun is an intelligent young man with many great qualities. He was punctual and reliable at all times. Things that stood out for us was his professionalism, neat presentation, calmness, easygoing nature and good sense of humour. We used Dinesh, our driver from Travelnlanka for 8 days of our 3 weeks trip to Sri Lanka in February - he was fantastic and totally made our holiday - so informative, helpful and kind. Our two girls aged 9 and 11 loved hanging out with him and made them feel safe. Dinesh was brilliant going recommendations and tips, plus organising additional visits which we hadn’t even considered and really made our trip extra special. He had a lovely, comfortable Toyota minivan and drive carefully throughout. Would fully recommend.
