Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center tilbyder besøgende smukt naturlandskab med tropiske haver. Under besøget vil du se og lære om en række dyrearter, der er blevet reddet og af forskellige årsager ikke kan frigives til reintegration i deres habitat. Dette er en fantastisk lærerig oplevelse for alle, der elsker naturen! Mod et ekstra gebyr kan du nyde en guidet tur (kun ved reservation), lejevogne til børn, souvenir- og kaffebar, isbar og en lækker restaurant med et udvalg af retter. Hele overskuddet går 100 % tilbage til vores rehabiliterings- og bevaringsindsats.

Rescate Wildlife er et af de største redningscentre i Mellemamerika. Vores hovedformål er at behandle, rehabilitere og reintegrere reddede dyr tilbage i deres naturlige miljø. Mange dyr har været forældreløse dyr, såret eller mishandlet. I vores fristed vil du se et stort antal dyrearter, der er blevet reddet og af forskellige årsager ikke kan frigives til reintegration i deres habitat. Rescate Wildlife redningscenter er et vidunderligt sted, hvor dyrene har en plads og ideelle betingelser for at overleve. Du vil blive overrasket over det smukke tropiske landskab, det store udvalg af dyr og vores smukke faciliteter.

We had an odd time gap to fill in our schedule before an early morning flight out of San Jose, so the day before we decided to tour this sanctuary. We did a self-guided tour and the signs were very descriptive. You could see how much love and care went into creating spaces conducive to housing these rescue animals. The space was easy to navigate, we probably spent almost 2 hours there. Highly recommend this tour as it is well run with the best interests of the animals at heart.
The best way to learn and protect nature!!!!! Lets support them always !!! Amazing experience for everyone !!!
I would give 10 stars if I could. We did the English tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The animal enclosures were phenomenal; they do a lot of good work there. And the restaurant had great food. Highly recommend! Plan on spending 3-4 hours - so much to see. Lots of hiking, but stroller friendly.
We had time to fill before a flight home and came here as had been following on instagram. It was amazing, exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the vibe, seeing so many animals and reading their stories. Fully support the policy of rescue and release if possible. Lots of free roaming animals and well looked after. Had a lovely lunch in the cafe too, highly recommend going.
I visited with my family in April, and we had a wonderful experience. First, I accidentally purchased tickets for the wrong date, completely my mistake, but the customer service was excellent. They responded quickly, adjusted my booking without any hassle, and sent the updated QR codes almost immediately, which I really appreciated. Once we arrived, we truly loved the place. Plenty of seating areas, which made it comfortable to explore at our own pace. The animals all appeared to be very well cared for, and there was a great variety, which made the visit even more interesting and engaging. We were visiting with a baby, so we especially appreciated the many shaded spots and places to sit, since it got quite sunny during the day. It made a big difference in keeping everyone comfortable. The on site restaurant, Kivu, was also fantastic. We all ordered casados, and the quality was excellent. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely go back.
An incredibly informative tour. Our guide was so very passionate about the reaxue work and value of the park. He emphasised the difference between a zoo and the rescue centre. He told stories about some of the individual animals and how they came to be there. He was patient answering questions and went well past the time allocated. This was such a fantastic end to our wonderful visit to Costa Rica and pulled together so much we had experience and more. Well done on your invaluable work Rescate Wildlife Rescue Centre. I highly recommend visiting
Beautiful zoo with intriguing animals for the rescue refuge. We enjoyed the walk and seeing all the beautiful birds!
Amazing place. Large variety of animals that look very well taken care of. I especially enjoyed the free roaming peacocks and lizards
The booking does not have to be made in advance, but can be done at the location. A beautiful location with many animals see for one reason or another have been injured and are being taken care of. Animals roam freely or sit in very spacious enclosures. Ample parking space. Quiet area. One of the better shelter locations in Costa Rica.
We had the best time at Rescate. Our daughter enjoyed every exhibit, photo op, food options. We spent about 2.5hours there and it gave us enough time to enjoy without feeling rushed. It was the crowded when we went so we could walk at our pace and enjoy the whole place almost by ourselves. Lotsssss of iguanas, birds, animals to see.
