This package was very disappointing as we didn’t realize we were booking a guided tour. Thought we were just purchasing tickets to skip the line.However, there was no line so we did not need to pay extra for that. We also had a guy who told us to bring AirPods, but the audio did not work. Also, the guide merely met us outside. The gate helped us scan our tickets and then we neversaw him again. Very disappointing and far too expensive. Not worth the money.Disappointing and deceptive.
Very easy. You get link to tickets pdf and link to audio guide to use on your phone. Bring earphones or AirPods you just go right in. If WiFi is lagging in the castle, note there’s a script available in the audio guide.
Booked Skip the Line tickets on the same day! Everything went smoothly. Great directions! The Castel was a good way to round out our 8 day trip to Portugal! The grounds also have a large population of beautiful peacocks.
Smooth and seamless entry, but Google maps mucked up the meeting point. The castle is amazing and it was a wonderful stop on our trip.
This excursion was so majestic to see and experience and learn about the history of it. I also loved all the peacocks hanging around on the grounds of the castle and they were also in the trees. The views from the castle were beautiful and spectacular!! This was a great experience!!
Fantastic views and good history with the audio tour. Akber was very fluid in providing me with my tickets and guiding me to the entrance location.
While this is a self guided tour, it was helpful to meet Syed initiallly who help orient us before entering, not to mention no waiting in line for tickets!
Very good reception upon our arrival at the castle
Syed gave lots of very good information about how to get to the castle and how to enter using the tickets even including photos in his instructions- excellent! Not much to see in the castle but grounds & views were lovely
Our guide was amazing. He reminded us in WhatsApp of our appointment and was understanding we were running late due to Bolt from hotel taking longer than anticipated. He met us right away and got us into skip the line tour. Was very pleased with service and experience.
