Vi besøger Nelson Mandela meget 1. hus, hvor han boede med sin 1. og 2. kone. Den ligger i Vilakazi-gaden, den eneste gade i verden, hvor to fredsprisvindere boede. Huset blev bygget i opførelsen af 1945 og Nelson Mandela flyttede i 1946 med sin første kone.
Vi besøger Hector Pieterson museum og mindesmærke, jeg forklarer mindesmærket derefter sende kunderne ind i museet for at relatere. Her taler det om studentoprøret i 1976, hvor eleverne blev skudt af apartheidpolitiet, de studerende protesterede mod indførelsen af afrikansk sprog i sorte skoler.
Vi besøger Walter Sisulu Square af helliggørelse også kendt som frihed charter, frihed charter blev underskrevet i 26/27 juni 1955 af folketinget, herunder Nelson Mandela og Walter Sisulu, det har omkring 10 præambler, der taler om lighed for folk i Sydafrika som helhed.
Vi passerer Orlando tvillingetårne, som blev brugt til at generere elektricitet ved hjælp af kul til byen Johannesburg, det blev nedlagt i 1998, i dag bruges som en bungee jump.
Vi besøger apartheid museum, her vil vi tage dig gennem museet og museet har 3 udstilling, nemlig, apartheid sektion, Nelson Mandela sektion og George Bizos sektion. Du forventer at tilbringe 2h30 timer her. Det er en gratis gåtur, men guiden vil være ved siden af kunderne for at besvare mulige spørgsmål.

The tour was perfect. Our guide, Lucky Mtsweni, has explained in detail the history of Johannesburg, especially Soweto. He has taken care of us and transmitted tranquility at all times. The visit included Nelson Mandela's house and the memorial to Hector Pieterson. We would repeat with him without hesitation!
This was the second time I've used Lucky as a tour guide for Soweto and Apartheid Museum. He also picked us up at the airport. What I love about having Lucky as my guide is his depth of knowledge and candidness. The information he gives en route to Soweto is invaluable in providing a deeper context to the museums on the tour. He is professional and personable and let's you go at your own pace through the sites. I'll definitely use him again next time I'm in Joburg!
We had a great Soweto and Apartheid Museum tour day starting around 8:30 and wrapping around 4:00. Laaki was our driver and tour guide. He was punctual picking us up. He was very knowledgeable about the history and went had engaging conversation about many many things. He gave lots of unique insight into Soweto. I would highly recommend.

We had a one day tour in Soweto, Johannesburg Downtown, Constitution Hill, and Sandton with Mr Lucky. Before the tour, Mr Lucky was flexible in setting the itinerary tailoring it to our requests. He was extremely professional, kind, knowledgeable, passionate. His approach helped us discover places we would have never been able to see otherwise. He was always respectful of the people and very nuanced in his explanations. His grasp of the modern history of South Africa is impressive. After the tour, Mr Lucky went out of his way helping us arrange transportation to our next destination.
We had a wonderfull half a day tour, right after our arrival. Our driver was Lucky and be was very toughtfull and knowledgable. He gave us a very good perspective on Soweto and the historic perspective around it and its importante for the country. It was an excellent beggining for the hollidays.
