Overall it was very good. However light effects could have been better - for example better use of modern technology. Sound was very good.
This was my second visit to the Sound and Light show at Amber Fort, Jaipur and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The glorious days of Amer city and life of the Kachuva dynasty are well captured in this 50 minutes show. If one is interested in India history, this is a worthwhile visit. The quality of the light and audio were excellent. So, was the narration.
Attending the Sound and Light Show at Amer Fort was a highlight of my trip to Jaipur. The way the rich history of the fort unfolded through the narration and synchronized lights was nothing short of enchanting. The atmosphere, with the majestic fort as the backdrop, created a surreal experience. I felt truly transported to another era. The attention to detail and the captivating storytelling made it a memorable night. Highly recommended for those who appreciate history served with a touch of magic
We had a fabulous jeep safari round Jaipur at night. This was an amazing experience. As when we had been round Jaipur seeing all the monuments lit up & changing colour in the dark. We went back up to the Amber Fort to see the Light Show. This was truly amazing & a once in a lifetime experience.
The light and sound show of amber fort is simply spectacular. It has two show timings 6:30 to 7:30 in English and 7:30 to 8:30 in Hindi. It would be best to reach 30 minutes before the show , the entry for 6:30 show starts at 6:15 . One can book online also . In winters it is best to carry warm clothes and caps.
I have decided to take part in this Show together with 2 other people from India. Total attendance were all 3 people of us. The tickets are easily available from the Amber Fort ticket counter and the Price for foreigner is 7 USD. This kind of show is more interesting to local people, than to the foreigners.
Good to attend this show in the evening and learn about the fort. It's well organised but there is a scope for improvement. Amer Fort is a massive Fort and worth a visit.
