Solidaritetsturnering

Beskrivelse

Bozena our tour guide was incredible. Brought the Solidarity movement, the history of Poland and the instersection of the two to life. She was animated, thoughtful and passionate — it was so instructive and enlightening. Do not miss the opportunity to learn from her if you are in Gdansk!
Our guide through the museum was amazing. We asked questions and got all the answers we needed, to understand the brilliant story of the Solidarity movement.
I did this tour in July during a short trip to Gdansk. I’ve always been interested in European and Cold War history, and wrote a paper on Solidarity in grad school, but what I didn’t realize is just how much it contributed to Gdansk’s own story - or maybe how Gdansk contributed to Poland’s. As to the tour itself, it was phenomenal. I didn’t even realize I had bought a private tour until the day of, lol. Lucas was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, and he made sure I got my money’s worth. He took me through the museum and pointed out vital things to know about the 30- or so year story. The museum is well laid out, thorough, and moving. It really captured why they rose up and their sacrifices. At the end you can add your thoughts to a card on a Solidarity-shaped wall. After the museum, Lucas took me around the shipyard pointing out historic points of interest, as well as what those spaces are being turned into and how they’re preserving the history. At the end of the tour, he gave me recommendations including the stunning amber altar at the Solidarity Church. I thoroughly loved this tour and came away with a deeper understanding of Gdansk, Polish history, and Solidarity. Thank you Lucas!!!
Ula was our tour guide and she was a warm, outgoing, knowledgeable guide. She gave us so much understanding and background of the events. She was very concerned about meeting our needs and went out of her way to accommodate us. We are so happy we went on this tour and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you Ula for a great experience!
Our guide, Uskasz, was instantly likable and lead us on a fascinating and educational tour of the Solidarity Center. It is no wonder that this company gets such high reviews. The tour went beyond educational; it brought the movement to life. It was a surprisingly emotional experience. Trust me; you do not want to miss this tour.
I have traveled to 97 Countries and been on over 100+ Tours and Bożena may be the best guide I have encountered. The tour was amazing and her knowledge and zest for her job was apparent. I highly recommend this tour for history and Cold War buffs, but with experiencing this tour you will not understand Gdansk. Ask for Bozena as a guide!
We thoroughly enjoyed our informative tour with Bozena. She was very flexible in adapting to our schedule and extremely helpful in providing advice regarding other aspects of our visit. And her English was excellent.
We really enjoyed our Solidarity Tour with Bozena. She was very energetic and provided a very engrossing story of the history behind the Solidarity movement, the people involved, and its effects on the people of Gdansk and Poland. There was a mistake by Viator in the booking, which required Bozena ro change the tour itinerary. The alternative stops she added supplemented the core information and gave us a holistic view of the events around the shipyard and Gdansk. We highly recommend this tour and Bozena as a guide!
Sebastian was a wonderful tour guide providing an incredible amount of information! We are happy we were able to do this tour.
we could have spent all day, very well done and worth the ticket, look for the folding museum chairs if you cant stand for 3 to 5 hours they are a life saver and made the experience much better
