Gesa picked us up at the cruise ship and brought us to see the Gannet Colony. She is passionate about New Zealand and shares her wealth of knowledge along the way. She fit in a couple of quick stops at Wintergarden and Bastion Point, plus gave us excellent recommendations for things to do after our tour. I whole-heartedly endorse this experience!

This was a really nice tour. We wanted to see some of the more natural landscape of Auckland. Convenient pick-up. We went to the west coast of Auckland and saw the coast and drove/hiked through beautiful scenery. We especially loved seeing the gannet colony. I'd highly recommend this tour!

Our tour to the sheep farm and honey farm were highlights of our day but the real highlight was Gesa and her knowledge of Auckland and its history and natural resources. Her abilities are stellar and we feel as if we have a new friend. Thank you so much for a memorable day!!!

It was a wonderful tour of the Mercer Bay Loop, Piha Beach and the Rainforest. Gesa was very knowledgeable of the area and she made it really fun. She is a wonderful guide. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get out of Auckland and see some beautiful scenery.

Gesa customized a tour for us that included Piha Beach and Kitekite Falls Walk so we could see gorgeous parts of New Zealand that are not on a typical tour. She provided lots of interesting information to help us gain a better understanding of what we were experiencing. She is very personable and flexible and wants to make sure you get what you are looking for from a tour with her. We would absolutely go with her again. It was a great way to spend time in New Zealand.

Our tours with Gesa was fabulous! She took the time to individualize our trip so that we could explore the black sand beaches of Piha while also taking a nice stroll through a west coast rainforest. Our visit to Auckland was enhanced by these 2 days of tours. Guess Mitchell is a multi lingual dedicated tour guide and driver. We enjoyed a roomy VW minivan to get to the various sights . Day 1 was the west side and the Otakamiro trail where the great white birds which spend 1/2. Year in Australia but return to mate and give birth on the shore in Auckland. Scores of them put on a dramatic show and we had a front and center seat! Old volcanoes are interesting to explore and we enjoyed these views from the bottom as well as up top, where we also had great views of the ocean. And surrounding islands. Gesa surprised us with a delicious picnic lunch in a park area. Walking along the ocean became a fitting way to conclude a busy day. Day 2 we headed North to the Pacific Ocean. The sculpturium is a must visit, and we spent 2 hours walking among the amazing sculptures, meticulous landscaping, and surprise inspirational sayings, yet we really wanted more time! Manuka honey can only be found here and we got quite an education on why this is both delicious and medicinal! Gesa knew the way to my heart was through my stomach, so she shared the location of the BEST gelato in Auckland, and we all indulged in organic deliciousness!!! Gesa was friendly, timely, and well prepared. She had been in contact with my wife several times before we arrived so we could design the best use of time and greatest opportunity to see the sights.

Wow! This excursion was just so wonderful! Gesa was very knowledgeable and gracious. The shore, cliffs, and beach were beautiful. A cup of hot tea while overlooking Maukatia Bay was so lovely. The Muriwai Gannet Colony was an easy walk and we were able to observe them so closely. The hike in the rainforest on the Quarry Track was so lush, green, and peaceful. Gesa was very flexible and kind to my 88-year-old mother. It allowed me to explore a bit while she kept mom company and Mom adored her. I wholeheartedly recommend this excursion. If you are visiting New Zealand, this is everything you pictured it would be. The individual tour is so worth the price. You will not be disappointed.

We only had 2 days in Auckland -one day to see the city and wanted to do something else for day 2. Gesa was amazing! She gave us all this incredible information, took us to places where the tour buses cannot go and we got to see a local's perspective. Great conversation and knowledge. We loved going to see the gannet colony and seeing the birds from up close with their little babies. We also got there at the right time to be able to go through the cave on the beach which was cool. This tour showed us the New Zealand that we had in our minds with the green hills, the sheep, some hiking and nature. Highly recommend this tour!
