Fordyb dig i guldsmedens verden - en særlig oplevelse på landet Uanset om det er med venner eller med din partner - en uforglemmelig workshop venter på dig i mit værksted i Toscana: Sammen vil I opdage den fascinerende verden af guldsmedearbejde, som er en central del af den florentinske tradition. Fra smeltning af det ædle metal til valsning, trækning, hamring og savning til filning, lodning, slibning og polering. På få timer kan du smede din egen ring - et helt unikt smykke, som vil give dig eller en, du holder af, en masse glæde. Hvis du har lyst, kan du også tage gammelt sølv eller guld med. Sammen smelter vi det ned og skaber noget nyt. Tidligere viden? Du har ikke brug for det. Bare glæden ved at skabe og ønsket om en særlig oplevelse. Alle kan gøre det - og alle går hjem med et strålende smil og en ring, de selv har smedet. Ind imellem er der en regional snack.

One of the trips that my husband and I will remember with the most pleasure in our lives will surely be the one we made in Tuscany to visit the talented goldsmith teacher Dörthe. Under her precious guidance, she managed with so much patience, clarity and passion to guide us from scratch in creating our wedding rings and a medal for our little dog, who was a guest with us in her workshop. Highly recommended experience and do not worry if you do not have any kind of goldsmith knowledge, Dörthe will take care of you step by step.

Wonderful experience, we were welcomed (together with our dogs) in a beautiful typical Tuscan farmhouse in the middle of the Florentine hills with a spectacular view and Dörthe the goldsmith teacher guided us in the creation of two unique rings, she was very kind and we would recommend this out of the ordinary expierence to everyone❤️

Dorthe is AMAZING!! We had trouble finding a bus that would make the morning class over the weekend and Dorthe was so accommodating and let us move to a day during the week. The buses were also a bit confusing (it was our first time taking them in Florence), and we got lost a couple times, but she was so patient. The process of making our rings was incredible. She explained each step and always checked in to make sure we were happy with how our jewelry turned out. In our breaks, it was lovely just getting to chat and spend time together. At the end of the class, Dorthe felt like family and it was sad saying goodbye. I couldn’t recommend this class more!

We loved learning about the entire process — her expertise and enthusiasm truly shine through. Dorthe speaks fluent Italian, German, and English. We enjoyed the great conversations, tasty snacks, and her adorable dog. We left not only with beautiful rings but also with a wonderful memory. Highly recommend!

Dörthe was extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful teacher! My husband and I made wedding rings. She walked us through the whole process: showcasing styles, helping us curate our preferred ring in the Florentine style, and walking us through every step. There was even a some water and snacks. Not to mention the whole atmosphere is STUNNING, perched on top of a villa in a workshop that windows showcase the beauty of the countryside. We absolutely loved being able to create our own wedding rings with the help of Dörthe! I would recommend this to anyone traveling through Florence if you’re looking for a once in a lifetime experience that gives you a piece of Italy to take home with you :)

We had the great pleasure of creating our own wedding rings with Dörthe – and it truly was an unforgettable experience! Her studio is set in a beautiful location, and from the very beginning the atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and completely stress-free. Even though we had no prior experience, Dörthe guided us patiently and professionally through every single step: from melting the gold to shaping, filing, and finally polishing our rings. After about 4 hours, we were holding two stunning rings in our hands. Dörthe is not only a talented goldsmith but also a wonderful host – friendly, knowledgeable, and with a lot of heart. She even offered us a delicious snack, which perfectly matched the relaxed atmosphere. A truly unique experience that we wholeheartedly recommend to any couple!

We were very grateful for this unique opportunity to craft our own wedding rings. We were able to melt down some old family jewelry to include in our rings which was very meaningful. Dorthe was very kind and patient with us as we were learning and we appreciated her warm welcome and hospitality.

If you want to spend an afternoon or morning different from the usual schmuck studio is the one for you. Prepare for an experience that will involve you both physically and mentally. Dorthe with her patience and kindness will guide you in creating whatever you want to accomplish, and even a little inside yourself. His studio is the treasure chest that collects all this magic.
