Small-Group Street Food Cyclo-tur i Hanois gamle kvarter

Beskrivelse
Hanoi vegetarisk madtur.

This was an excellent guide! They showed me all the nice spots and were very knowledgeable and accommodating.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- 5 Stars for our tour guide Ginna. She was very knowledgeable and fantastic with our 2 year old son. If it wasn't for her I'd be giving a 1 star review for the company. We booked through Trip Adviser the morning of the tour and selected our meeting point as a Hotel (one of the two options they give on the drop down menu). We got to the hotel and they had no idea about any tour and told us we might have been scammed. Then we saw a sign for Crossing Vietnam Tours across the road upstairs. We knocked on the door and a startled man answered saying the Crossing Vietnam Tours office was actually around the corner and he couldn't help. When we finally found the office they had no record of our booking (even though it showed as confirmed on our end) and that they wouldn't be able to do a tour until 3 hours later. Instead we arranged to try again the next day at 10am, which was confirmed on WhatsApp, but when she asked for our hotel information she said they would pick up at 11am. At 10:07am I got a message from our guide saying she couldn't find us so we rushed to get ready. If you go with this company I would advise to book a few days in advance and double check/confirm the details. The food on the tour was delicious and guide was fantastic. We did only get a cyclo from our hotel to the first location and there was a fair bit of walking between locations, which we didn't expect. We didn't mind so much as it helped to work up an appetite but was a bit tricky with our 2 year old in tow. The guide also gave us some great recommendations of other food to try and things to do in Hanoi and when we go to Da Nang/Hoi An.
Sara was amazing! Great food tour! Highly recommended! We had a lot of different food and a great group Sara was very informative and passionate about her job!
We had a great tour led by Chi. She was perfect as explaining the origin of all the food and general culture in Vietnam. Thank you Chi. This was a walking tour with a velo cycle at the end.
A last minute decision to go on the cycle food tour and I was rewarded with a yummy array of favourites. The food offerings were generous. Was lucky enough to get combined with a group doing train street so that made it even better. Great guides and good fun.
We had an amazing evening on the walking food tour with Ethan. He’s an incredible guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Vietnamese food and culture. What really stood out was how he made every stop feel personal, sharing the stories behind each dish and the small family-owned stalls we visited. We tried Bun Cha, Pho rolls, Banh Mi, mixed pho, coconut ice cream with sticky rice cooked with pineapple leaf, along with a coffee at the train street. Ethan also shared tips on what to eat, during our trip, which was super helpful. If you want to go beyond the tourist restaurants and truly taste Hanoi like a local, this tour with Ethan is absolutely worth it.
Great way to experience Hanoi. Our guide, Connor, was very knowledgeable about Hanoi’s food culture and history. He was able to pick spots based on our feedback and appetite. Worth the money!
Cuc (Daisy) and Trang (Evelyn) were great. Food was good. Just be ready to eat a lot. Cycling around the quarter was fun too.
I had an amazing time on a food tour in Hanoi with my guide, Anya, and I highly recommend her! The tour was a fun adventure, packed with delicious food and unique spots I’d never have found alone. Anya’s talent for choosing hidden gems in Hanoi’s busy streets made every stop special. Her knowledge of the local food scene was impressive, and her stories about each dish and place brought the experience to life. It was just us two, but it never felt awkward. Anya’s warm, friendly vibe made me feel at ease, like hanging out with a friend. She was engaging, attentive, and truly passionate about Hanoi’s culinary culture. The pacing was spot-on, the food was fantastic, and the memories are unforgettable. I can’t wait to recommend Anya’s tour to anyone visiting Hanoi. I’d love to do it again with a friend, as it’s too good not to share. For a fun, personal, and memorable food tour, Anya is the one to choose!
Hanoi, Vietnam’s vibrant capital, blends centuries-old heritage with dynamic modern life. The Old Quarter’s narrow streets bustle with markets, street food, and French colonial architecture, while serene lakes like Hoan Kiem offer peaceful escapes. Cultural landmarks such as the Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum reflect the city’s deep history. Hanoi’s cuisine—pho, bun cha, and egg coffee—delights visitors with authentic flavors. Despite rapid development, the city preserves its unique charm through traditional festivals, crafts, and a warm, welcoming spirit. From sunrise at Long Bien Bridge to the lively night markets, Hanoi offers a captivating balance of tradition and progress.
