Lille gruppe North Shore Circle Island Tour Oahu

Our registration, pickup and drop off went seamlessly. We didn’t register until the day before (I don’t recommend this) but were made very comfortable through the correspondence we received. The tour itself was great. A thorough experience of Oahu. Our guide, Bodhi, was absolutely amazing! The only thing more impressive than his knowledge about everything Hawaii, was his unique method(s) of sharing what he knows. His delivery was interactive for anyone who wanted to participate, and for those who didn’t, they could sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery and soak up what others had to offer.

We really appreciated the "shortcuts" to reduce wait time at lunch and the Plantation that our guide, Tyler, provided. The food options were limited to one business (with 8 options, not counting sweets). I thought having a menu to look over in the van prior to arrival was smart and a good time saver. At the food location, Tyler make a passive aggressive joke to one person who had allergies (and couldn’t eat the one business option) but could have shaved ice and fruit. The food was said to be fresh, which I agree, but I spent time removing some of the shrimp veins. There were a lot of stops around the island and I loved the overlooks. Some jokes from our guide were political, which could fall differently than he might anticipate. He also talked a lot about how tourists weren't very smart (| get it when it's unsafe behavior and I'm thankful to now know them). Other comments were negative regarding some local food truck vendors at the sugar mill location. We didn't have great timing with all the locations so the plantation was cut a bit short, unfortunately. I suggest kindly letting the group know at every stop what time we should return including and especially lunch. I think it would help a lot. I was very upset with a particular comment stating we needed to return to the van on time at the Plantation ("Right, ladies?') indicating the women in the group could not keep time. That was offensive.

Having travelled extensively in many countries, I’ve learned that a great guide can make all the difference between simply seeing a place and truly understanding it. Tyler Marsh was one of those guides. His knowledge of Oahu, Hawaiian culture, history, and local life was outstanding, but what really stood out was his ability to present it all in a relaxed, engaging, and entertaining way. He kept the entire group interested throughout a full day of touring and was always happy to answer questions. The scenery around Oahu is spectacular, but Tyler’s commentary, stories, and local insights added a dimension that we would never have experienced on our own. He was professional, friendly, punctual, and clearly passionate about sharing his island with visitors. This was one of the best guided tours we’ve taken in Hawaii. Highly recommended, and Tyler deserves every one of these five stars

This is a nice small group, so it is more efficient than larger bus tours. Our guide, Tyler, was born and raised on Oahu. He is very knowledgeable and entertaining! My 17 and 22 year old daughters really enjoyed this, and they are hard to please!

Heather was great. We did not stop at all stops as listed. Had to call the tour operator for pick up details as the information wasn’t clear.

Our driver was Nevin, he was a bit late picking us up but this did not ruin our experience. Nevin is a great tour guide/driver. He was even willing to help us take photos and talk about life growing up in Hawaii.

Christine was very knowledgeable about the island. We covered a lot of ground. It would have been nice to stop at more north shore beaches, but time doesn’t allow for that.

It was a first class trip to North Shore of the island. Uncle Benny was so friendly and helpful. Full of knowledge about the area. He took us to the best spots to see the island’s natural beauty. A small group of 8 so that was very easy to keep us all together and it felt like a more initimate experience rather than en masse coach trip. Lunch was delicious at a restaurant he recommended and he took us to a quiet spot where we found a turtle resting on the beach. Highly recommended.
