Efter at have mødt vores guide er det første madstop et sted i centrum af det historiske centrum i Korfu by kaldet "helgenen", hvor vi vil have en typisk græsk brunch. Brunchen inkluderer den traditionelle græske ostetærte, spinattærte, cremecremetærte, ingefærøl, baklava og så berømt græsk yoghurt.
Vores andet madstop vil introducere vores besøgende den lokale kumquat-frugt. Vi vil prøve kumquat-likøren, de græske lækkerier med kumquat-smag og "mandolato" en korfiot-slik lavet af nougat.
Den eneste traditionelle mejeributik tilbage i Korfu By siden 1950, hvor du vil have mulighed for at smage det berømte Corfiot friske smør, som de laver hver dag, en budding og galaktoboureko (flødetærte).

We had such a wonderful walking gastronomy tour with Ariti in Corfu! She shared such interesting information about the city's history and the lives of the locals and we ate ourselves silly! Electra is an amazing guide. We were on a 7 day cruise and her tour was the highlight of our vacation. The tour included some history and ALOT of great food and recommendations. If you are unsure, just book it, you will not regret it. (Come hungry, there is alot of food and it all tastes great)

This experience you must subdue yourself. It is a really good mix of food and history. For example, how history has put its mark on Corfu and thus also the gastronomy. Our guide, Alice, was really good at conveying the story in a lively way and the delicacies we got along the way fit into the overall experience. We left there with a feeling of having gotten a better insight into Corfu and an understanding of what it really is like to live there. Good and interesting trip!

Really informative excursion, our guide Alice was fantastic, so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and personable. The excursion was more than just a food tour. Alice provided us with an immersive experience of the history and culture of Corfu and Corfu town coupled with great food. Our tour with Nausica was absolutely amazing! We sampled a wonderful variety of foods that are unique to Corfu's culture while strolling through the charming streets of Old Town and learning about its rich history. We had a wonderful evening with our guide Elektra on the walking food tour in Corfu town. We learnt about the history of Corfu while we wandered through the beautiful old town. We stopped to sample food along the way, delicious pastries, meats and cheeses, and sweets before having a meal in a taverna. Elektra was so knowledgeable and great fun to be with. I highly recommended this tour.
