Very interesting and we had a great time not only cooking but learning about Slovenia. We also were treated with snacks and sampled four different local wines.
Never book with them, they cancel you last minute despite the tour being booked a month ago. I mean, do you not check your schedule? Shows how irresponsible and unethical these people are in running the company. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! Offers no help nor options and leave you stranded and block you on WhatsApp.
We scheduled this tour many, many months ago. The operator canceled our visit less than 20 hours before the scheduled start, way too late for us to reschedule with someone else. We were very disappointed.
My partner and I took part in this incredible experience and I could not recommend it enough. Luka was so welcoming and friendly and also incredibly knowledgeable about Slovenia! We had such an amazing time making the strukliji and we will both take what we’ve learnt home having gained the skill - we also got to try an excellent selection of local wine and foods. Such an incredible end to our trip!
Fun and engaging cooking class. The guy hosting the class was very kind and shared his knowledge of the culture.
The class was so much fun and our leader was wonderful! We enjoyed talking with the other people in the class as much as we enjoyed learning something new. We highly recommend this experience.
Our Štrukli class with Luka was a fantastic experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Luka’s expertise and clear instructions made the process of preparing this traditional Slovenian dish both fun and accessible, even for beginners. The hands-on aspect of the class, combined with Luka’s friendly and encouraging teaching style, made it a truly engaging experience. Sharing the class with other travelers added to the enjoyment, as we bonded over learning a new skill and savoring the delicious results together. We left with a deeper appreciation for the local cuisine and wonderful memories of the entire experience.
Lots of fun! Host was very nice. Got to learn more about Slovenia, and also eat some bread with cheese and meat. He also offered beer and wine during the meal. The host is very sociable and we had a great time! At the end he also gave us recommendations on places to see and to eat.
It was a very nice evening, everything was very well organized and exactly explained. You could talk well and the food was delicious.
Highly recommend this experience! Our group of three had an excellent time with this traditional Slovenian cooking class (from a locally-owned business!). Luka is an energetic and knowledgeable teacher and he ensured we had a good time.
