Beskrivelse
Dette er en 1,5 mil mini mushing aktivitet, der cirkulerer vores ejendom gennem sort gran, alders og bjørnebær. Den faktiske slidtid er 15-20 minutter. Fuld aktivitet tid er 1 - 1,5 timer. I begyndelsen vil vi gå over, hvordan man rider på og i din tandem hund slæder. Når vi har det her ud af vejen kan vi skabe lidt støj og møde hundene! Mens du nyder kys og omfavnelser fra dine kærlige huskies, vil vi udnytte og forbinde holdet. Når vi er koblet op, vil vi gå ud på dine stier rundt om ejendommen med fantastisk udsigt fra højt på en ridge. Der er masser af muligheder for fotos undervejs og masser af knyttid, når vi vender tilbage til kennelen. Kennel besøget vil finde sted enten før eller efter din slæde ride, afhængigt af vejret, hundene, og din guide tidsplan.

My family had a great time with Sledding and homestead Adventures. I highly recommended doing this. The dogs were very friendly and Greg was awesome with keeping us warm and safe on the trail. The actual sledding on the trail was perfect, not too fast or slow and the views amazing.

Our experience was disappointing and I wouldn't recommend this specific tour. While the dogs are wonderful and the trail itself is amazing, the actual sledding time is far too short—you are only on the sled for about 5–7 minutes. The activity is marketed as a 1 hour 30 minute experience, but it didn't last anywhere near that long. Additionally, the handler was rude and seemed aggressive when first speaking to us, though he did eventually ease up. Dog mushing is a lot of fun and a must-do while in Fairbanks, but I highly suggest booking it elsewhere and skipping this particular tour.

Our description of this short version of our signature aspen grove mush, includes in the description; 1.5 miles of sledding which lasts 10-20 minutes on the sled, depending on how fast the dogs can go based on outdoor temperatures. The overall tour length includes a safety demonstration, time with the dogs and puppies, kennel visit, time for photos, and visiting with the host to chat about life in interior Alaska with their dogs, totaling approximately 1.5 hours. This structure is common across operators because the focus is on an immersive, educational visit with the huskies (who are the real stars), not just maximizing ride length—dogs need breaks to stay healthy and happy. Our dog sledding adventure with Greg was nothing short of extraordinary! From the very beginning, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made us feel like we were truly part of the experience not just guests along for the ride. His enthusiasm was contagious, and his love for Alaska and the dogs shined through in every story and explanation he shared. His team member was just as spectacular. Together, they were an amazing duo so knowledgeable about the animals, the landscape, and life in Alaska. They took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we felt comfortable and excited every step of the way. There was not one tiny moment of regret or disappointment throughout the entire trip. It was so clear how incredibly well they treat their dogs. Every single dog was cared for with kindness and respect, and you could see the strong bond between them. And the puppies absolutely amazing! They were friendly, sweet, and such a joy to interact with. It truly warmed our hearts to see how much love and attention each dog receives. This was an unforgettable experience, and I would most definitely come back time and time again. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring any of my friends along to share in such an incredible adventure. This tour was absolutely everything we hoped it would be. The dogs are so gentle and smart and the extra hands on time with them is so cool!
