Visiting Pompeii Archaeological Park was already on my bucket list, but this tour made the experience unforgettable. Our guide wasn't just a tour guide—he is a renowned archaeologist who has worked on the Pompeii excavations for decades. Learning directly from someone who has dedicated so much of his career to uncovering and studying this incredible ancient city brought history to life in a way no guidebook or audio tour ever could. His knowledge, passion, and storytelling transformed every street, home, and artifact into a fascinating piece of history. We had a transportation issue and we almost had to cancel, but they were able to accommodate the group, which is more than kind of them. Truly a gem! If you truly want to understand Pompeii and not just walk through it, this is the tour to book. Having a prominent archaeologist lead the experience is something very few places in the world can offer. If you can't find them on TripAdvisor, check www.raphaeltours.com. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. You will leave with a much deeper appreciation for Pompeii, and you absolutely will not regret choosing this tour.
Great guide who was excellent with children and explaining history in a fun way for all ages. She was absolutely great! I loved that she avoided the large groups and kept us in more intimate areas as to not feel overwhelmed or overheated.

Highly recommend this tour. Great communication from the tour guide via WhatsApp with clear meeting instructions. Seamless entry to the site and her knowledge really brought the site alive! Looked after us really well. We were then able to wander around the site at our leisure afterwards. Perfect day.

This was an incredible location, but Anna was absolutely a fantastic tour. She really went above and beyond and was so knowledgeable and patient and kind and interested in everything around us.
This was the best tour anyone could have of Pompei. I had 2 teens with me and he kept them very engaged the entire time . They even said the loved the tour . It will be a special memory for all of us.
Lello who is an archaeologist led the tour and is amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable, includes lots of history and very engaging for both adults and children. Small enough group and very little waiting. Great tour!
Cannot recommend this small group tour enough! We went on a Wednesday, so the site was less crowded, and the archeologist who educated our small group, Catello, was absolutely amazing.
