I Sintra er der flere nationale monumenter, herunder unikke paladser, gamle ruiner og paladsagtige huse spredt ud over bakkerne i regionen, interessante stier for fodgængere. At lære dets historiske centrum at kende, især Pastelaria Piriquita (en af Sintras attraktioner), med de berømte typiske slik Travesseiros, som får os til at drømme, især på de koldeste dage, der er typiske for Sintras mikroklima

Cabo de Roca er det vestligste punkt på det europæiske kontinent, hvor Jorden slutter og havet begynder, som Luís de Camões skrev (i Os Lusíadas, Canto VIII), Fyrtårnet, 165 meter højt, er fra 1772, her kan vi se Atlanterhavets uhyre, afslører et af de mest emblematiske steder i Portugal.
Navnet "Boca do Inferno", der tilskrives dette sted, skyldes den morfologiske analogi og den enorme og skræmmende virkning af bølgerne der.
Fri tid til at udforske Cascais med en bred strand og meget maleriske gader, der gør byen til et sted, der er meget besøgt af turister, en blanding af en fiskerby med et luksussted med mange restauranter, der serverer frisk fisk og skaldyr. Mellem bugten og bjergene i Sintra, i det 19. århundrede Cascais var stedet valgt af den kongelige familie til ferier, som endte med at tage adelen, i det historiske centrum, er der mange butikker og restauranter.
Returen til Lissabon vil ske langs linjens strande med panoramaudsigt over Estoril, der er berømt for sit kasino (den største spillehal i Europa) og for det faktum, at forfatteren Yan Fleming skrev den første 007-roman, " Casino Royale ”, under 2. verdenskrig her. Vi vender tilbage til Lissabon ad "Marginal"-vejen og nyder en betagende udsigt over havet.

Vitor made everything easy and enjoyable. He treated us like family- telling great stories and showing us the beautiful places that are off the beaten path. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and can’t wait to come back for more adventures with him.
Fantastic experience with Vitor. From the start , communication was prompt , efficient and so easy. Vitor always arrived on time for pick ups at hotel doorstep = couldn't have been easier. Itinerary was flexible,Vitor always had good suggestions but obliged us, if we had our own. Vitor had a wealth of knowledge about the history of the areas we visited. Vitor is the absolute best! We had such a great experience exploring Sintra, Azenhas do Mar, Cabo da Roca, & Cascais. He gave us the best tips to beat the crowds in the palaces, amazing lunch suggestion, and is incredibly knowledgeable of the area! You can't go wrong with a tour with Vitor! We would definitely use him again, and in fact, we will be doing a transfer with him from Lisbon to Porto! Can't wait!

A friend recommended Vitór of Portugal expert for our day in Sintra & Cascais & we were so glad she did! Before we even went to Portugal, he helped us put together our day & get tix online for the palace, Quinta de Regaleira. Our day started with Vitor picking us up at our Lisbon hotel. His luxury car was comfortable & we were in good hands. We really enjoyed talking with Vitor & learning about an array of subjects. We loved the Quinta & all its gardens. Sintra was busy but Vitor told us what to see & eat. We went out to the coast & walked along the beach. Our lunch had a beautiful view & had our favorite grilled fish with clams. What a lovely day. Vitor did all the work but he was so laid back. We highly recommend him!

This was so fantastic. Vitor picked us up at our hotel in a very nice Mercedes van and it was incredibly comfortable. Vitor's knowledge of everything made the trip so interesting and wonderful. He has a lovely demeanor and was very easy going, giving us lots of flexibility at each stop and even extending the trip 40 minutes to allow us more time. I would recommend Vitor to ANYONE visiting Portugal for an incredible experience.

Thank you Vitor for a lovely private tour. I don't think we would have had a great experience if we went with those huge tour buses. Thank you for being prompt and picking us up from our hotel. Your SUV was roomy and clean. The itinerary was at a perfect pace. Eventhough we went over an hour on the tour you still insist we take our time. It was great to visit each site at our pace.

Vitor is an excellent private tour guide! We had 3 separate full day tours around the sights in Lisbon, Fatima and surrounding areas, and Sintra. Vitor has a great sense of humor and is a wealth of information about the entire country, AND its history! He explained in detail about the important facts of each location and he was VERY accommodating as far as how much time spent in each area. Vitor’s recommendations for restaurants for lunch were excellent for Authentic Portugese food and drink! We NEVER felt rushed and enjoyed every minute! He does tours well outside of the Lisbon area, including the Algarve and Northern locations, including Porto. As an older couple, we didn’t want to have a group tour, and he was always able to park near all sites! Very important, since we have some mobility issues. Vitor surprised us with a special, meaningful gift each day. How thoughtful. We highly recommend the Portugal Expert Turismo!
