Gemt væk på den vestlige side af Lissabon er Sintra en betagende landsby, der fortryller alle med sin eventyrlige charme og fantastiske natur! Byen er berømt for sine farverige paladser, såsom det ikoniske Pena-palads og Nationalpaladset, og dens eklektiske arkitektur afspejler en rig historie, der blander gotiske, manuelinske og romantiske stilarter! Med sine betagende landskaber og rige kulturarv er Sintra et must-visit-mål, der lover at fordybe rejsende i Portugals magi. Undgå al den kedelige planlægning! Dette palads bygget omkring 19century er den mest besøgte i Portugal! Med to smukke farver, et par forskellige arkitektoniske stilarter, fantastiske udsigter fra de øverste og romantiske haver, er det her værd at kigge rundt!
En af de vigtigste historiske bygninger i Portugal er et af de ældste paladser i landet, der er over 500 hundrede år gammelt. Bygget i en Manuelinsk arkitektonisk stil vil vi have chancen for at se på den og dens berømte skorstene!
Cabo da Roca - Det vestlige punkt i det kontinentale Europa Denne panoramaudsigt over havet er ikke kun et geografisk synspunkt, du skal gå, men det er også et historisk punkt, fordi fyret er en af de ældste i Portugal bygget i 1772! Det er det mest populære sted for kysten.

We had an absolutely amazing day with Mauro! The fact that my family and I were the only people on the tour was brilliant as we were able to learn so much. Mauro is from Sintra, so he has an incredible knowledge of the area and it's history. The Pena palace was not too busy so we got to have a good look around it's beautiful terraces, the ticket Mauro got for us made it so easy! The drive through the stunning countryside to Pena, then the historic centre of Sintra was so enjoyable and we also went to Cabo Da Roca with stunning views of the Atlantic. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks for such an amazing day Mauro, we all felt like Sintra locals!!

This half day was a wonderful surprise, we were on a business trip and had our time tightly scheduled and Mauro managed to show us all the nicest spots in Sintra all whilst making us even forget we were here on business. Best guide we had here and a wonderful person

Wow, what an amazing tour, From the Palaces, to the views, everything was spot on, Mauro is a Super friendly Guide, it was very easy to get along with him, Me and my family felt like he was a long date friend, totally recommend!
We enlisted Mauro’s help to show us the important sights of both Lisbon and Sintra on 2 separate days in May 2026. We were very comfortable in his air conditioned Mercedes and appreciated a good combination of driving and walking to see the highlights. He is extremely interested and well versed in Portugal’s history. We were amazed at how many details he knew about the various Portuguese royal dynasties, wars, explorers, historical sights, etc and right up to current events. Mauro tailored the perfect tour for us around both cities. In Sintra, he had prearranged any tickets we required for the Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira including the Initiation Well. He also made a reservation for us at a local restaurant for lunch that serves delicious, authentic Portuguese meals. Mauro is a hardworking, bright and personable young man with a genuine love of history and much pride in his beautiful country. We thoroughly enjoyed both days spent with him and absolutely recommend him as your host and guide while in Portugal.
We are thankful to Mauro for an amazing half day tour! He picked us up on time and was able to accommodate us with 3 kids. He was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot from him. We enjoyed exploring Pena palace and other stops, our favourite was Cabo da Roca. This tour does not include lunch however Mauro picked up some local treats which was much appreciated and worth trying! Thank you for everything, great memories :) I would recommend this tour, it was easy to book and confirm.
Tour of Sintra and surroundings. With departure and return to Lisbon. BEAUTIFUL! Mauro takes you to see Palacio de Pena in Sintra (the one that looks like a Disney castle) skipping all the lines. He then tells you about the fascinating Masonic history of the Quinta da Regaleira, before letting you go in and explore this farm with secret passages, underground caves and a stunning villa. Finally… it takes you to a secret beach near Cabo do Roca from which to enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the ocean. I forgot... breakfast in the morning and cod for lunch in a non-touristy place he knows. At the end of this experience you are richer in memories, colors and adventures, and what's more Maurito has become a friend. If you go to Lisbon, don't miss this experience!
