Sintra, der mange gange anses for at være verdens romantiske hovedstad, vil helt sikkert fylde dine hjerter med kærlighed. Sintra, der af UNESCO anses for at være et verdensarvssted, har nogle fantastiske højdepunkter, som du kan opleve. Af de fire storslåede Sintra vidundere, der er foreslået i rejseplanen, vil du få den magiske oplevelse at besøge et efter eget valg sammen med Pena Palace (kun billetter til Pena Palace er inkluderet med Skip-The-Line-muligheden). Efter mere end et århundrede som feriested har Cascais en vis berømmelse, som nyere feriesteder mangler. Dens historie er synlig i villaerne langs kysten. Den beskyttede sandbugt var engang en forhistorisk fiskerihavn.
Inden du bevæger dig mod Cabo da Roca, kan det være en god idé at tage en spadseretur gennem det historiske centrum af Sintra. Dette er et godt tidspunkt at hvile, frokost og prøve nogle af de traditionelle regionale kager. Denne storslåede ejendom er en jungle af eksotiske træer og blomstrende buske. Dens historie går tilbage til tiden for maurerne, men det blev opkaldt efter en lille kapel fra det 16. århundrede dedikeret til Vor Frue af Monteserrat, fra Catalonien, Spanien. (Foreslået monument)
I hjertet af landsbyen Sintra rejser et par usædvanlige koniske skorsten over det kongelige palads. Dette palads blev domstolens foretrukne sommerretur og fortsatte, som residens for det portugisiske kongerige, indtil 1980'erne. Den gradvise genopbygning af paladset resulterede i en fascinerende blanding af stilarter. (Foreslået monument)

Filipe was a great guide.was smart about how much information given as sometimes it can be overloaded,,no pressure to hurry and he personalized tour to suit our needs..all the sites we saw were worth looking at

Honestly I wouldnt do anything different in my stay in Lisbon, Alessio was an amazing tour guide (private tour guide) and literally showed us EVERY spot in Lisbon, Belem and Sintra… also took us to very local spots for the best sunset ever in Lisbon, for best pastries and Portuguese food. Also note that Alessio was very knowledgeable about the city, culture and history… a funny guy indeed. I highly recommend this tour as is the best “all-in” experience.

Filipe was awesome! He brings a lot of energy and knows his stuff cold. Very engaging and is very interesting with all his knowledge. He was born and raised in Lisbon but has worked and traveled the world. The tour is amazing and Filipe extended our tour by a couple of hours which enabled us to see more beautiful areas. We stopped for a terrific lunch at 3 Gomes. We asked Filipe to join us and grateful he did. We got a chance to get to know Filipe and enjoyed our conversation. The van was very comfortable. He certainly knows his way around Sintra and Penta as well as the Atlantic coast. We got a lot of pictures. Also, Filipe took 50 plus pictures and forwarded them to us. I can’t say enough and he made the day most remarkable and easy. A must do tour with him when visiting Lisbon. You will not regret it!!

Our guide, Adriano, was exceptional. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, and helpful. He made our day so much fun. He brought us to castles/palaces and to Cascais, and told us many interesting facts and history. He picked us up and dropped us off at our Airbnb. Highly recommend.
