The guide and people were nice, but the experience was not for me. I was pretty bored. The guide was very nice and funny, but he spoke very fast, broken English, and was often hard to understand. He also walked WAY TOO FAST for many people in our group, some of whom were elderly, or otherwise challenged with walking. He was nice and funny, however. But, I did not enjoy the tour. It was too hot and humid; I struggled with the humidity. The shows were fine.
We are pleased to hear that you found the guide friendly and enjoyed the company of fellow guests as well as the two iconic light shows, which are the highlights of this experience. For transparency, this tour operated with only 13 guests that evening, making it significantly smaller than many similar join-in tours in Singapore. The vast majority of guests on the same tour rated their experience 5 stars shortly after the tour concluded. Our records also show that our customer service team remained in continuous contact with you from pickup coordination through to the meeting point. Concerns of organization were raised after only a brief waiting period of a few minutes, despite immediate support being provided and the tour proceeding as scheduled. Such expectations at the very least beginning are difficult to reconcile with the realities of a shared group tour. Throughout the evening, the guide was required to maintain a reasonable pace to ensure the group arrived on time for Singapore's public light shows, which operate on fixed schedules. While we appreciate that walking speed and comfort levels can vary between individuals, a join-in group tour must balance the needs of all guests. Regarding the weather, Singapore's tropical climate is naturally hot and humid year-round. While we understand that this may affect personal comfort and enjoyment, it is unfortunately beyond the control of any tour operator. Many of the concerns raised appear to relate more to personal travel preferences than to the actual delivery of the tour itself. Guests seeking a fully customized pace, one-to-one attention, and greater flexibility may find a private tour more suitable for their expectations. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and are glad that you enjoyed the guide, fellow guests, and the evening attractions. We wish you a pleasant stay in Singapore.
Be prepared for crowds. Great trip on River. Good tour to see both light shows and river! You may have to sit on the ground at trees, so be prepared!

This was a good tour as you get to see the river and sites along with the Marina Bay Area. Light show is later and is spectacular.

Loved the tour and the tour guide Jessica , we started at the Merlion and then boarded a boat from there and later saw the 2 shows .One person from tour kept getting lost including 20 minutes after the Rhapsody garden night show .the only thing I did not like is the fact that I got a what’s app message 2 hours before the tour changing my pick up time by half hour to 5 pm which I didn’t see as I was asleep and so I had to get my own cab and I was also told that the tour would leave if I did not reach Merlion by 6 pm when they were there till 6.15 pm so pre tour was just very stressful .but all was forgotten and we had a great time and a nice drop off back to hotel as well.

This was an excellent tour with all 3 stops being exceptional. I consider all 3 to be ‘must dos’ while in Singapore. Our tour guide was passionate about Singapore and his enthusiasm was contagious. The only reason I couldn’t give this 5 stars was because my husband uses a cane and walks slower than most. Unfortunately, the tour guide did not make any accommodations for him and actually seemed incredibly insensitive to his needs. He walked very quickly in very crowded environments and although he carried an orange umbrella as a visual for his group, when you can’t keep up with his pace, we were very worried we would lose track of the group. Thankfully there was a lovely couple on our tour who gave us their front row seat on the bus and looked out for us. Many thanks to them for their great kindness. Adding sensitivity for mobility needs would have given this tour a perfect score!

This was meant to be a small group, 15-20 max. There were 27. Guide Winston gave a good imitation of Manuel from Fawlty Towers. Lots of standing around for no apparent purpose - 'now we wait here for 20 minutes'. Light shows good, but should have gone independently, not in a big group which was exactly what we wanted to avoid

Great boat ride ,enjoyed all the attractions ,guide was good but I did not like my pick up experience ,I was sent a message that my pick up was 5.25 pm and then 2 hours before I was sent a message that the pick up was 5 pm ,I set my alarm and was fast asleep when second message came through so I waited down at 5.25 pm and then saw my missed calls and I was told to get down to 1 Fullerton place by 6 pm ,otherwise tour would go away ,we rushed there stressed and frantic and we didn’t leave there till 6.20 pm .why did I get a last minute text changing pick up time ,I was jet lagged and fast asleep ,more time was spent waiting on another traveler and we got delayed by half hour at the various attractions
Thank you for your feedback. For clarity, a confirmation message with full pick-up details was sent at 9:00 AM. When we discovered that two different hotel addresses were recorded in the booking system, we immediately contacted you to avoid any miscommunication. Multiple call attempts were made before we finally reached you and received confirmation that the pick-up should be at Pan Pacific Orchard. Upon confirmation, we immediately revised the routing and updated the pick-up time accordingly and all messages at that time all showed read. At approximately 4:40 PM, our guide sent another reminder message to ensure all pick-ups on time as planned. This was again followed by multiple call attempts by both our guide and customer service team. In total, 1 call was answered, which signaled the guest on WhatsApp, but more than 10 call attempts were made throughout the coordination process, and all calls went unanswered. We make every effort to communicate clearly and repeatedly; however, it remains the guest’s responsibility to monitor and respond to those communications. To protect the experience of the other guests and to ensure we met the fixed 6:00 PM river cruise schedule, we proceeded according to plan. You contacted us at approximately 5:35 PM. When the group arrived at Merlion Park at around 5:40 PM, prior to the 6:00 PM boat departure, we still allowed you to join the tour and back-up the plan for the boat at 18.15 boarding. In group tours, when guests are uncontactable despite repeated communication attempts, we must prioritize the overall schedule and the experience of the entire group. While we respect all feedback, guests should take responsibility for their own communication before placing fault on service coordination. There is a lot of walking involved. This is advised as a river cruise but to cruise experience was only about half an hour. The rest involved a lot of walking and is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. We had to abandon the tour before the light shows.

The program involves walking, steps, and standing, with only a 35-minute riverboat segment. One guest in your group was completely unable to walk and experiencing constant pain, making it impossible to continue. This serious condition was never communicated prior to booking. The tour was booked last minute, and the guests were uncontactable before and during the tour, then left the group without informing the guide, impacting other guests’ experience. Clear communication is essential for shared tours, especially for guests with severe mobility limitations, who should book a private or assisted option instead.
Great for a brief summary of highlights and also no stress way to see the light shows. The light shows were spectacular. Kelvin our tour guide was so knowledgeable. We learned so much the first evening we arrived, we were able to plan our next day with his help.
