Our experience with Sigiriya Kayak was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Kayaking across the calm lake with breathtaking, clear views of Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock was peaceful and incredibly scenic. Along the way, we were also able to observe beautiful birds native to Sri Lanka and a variety of aquatic plants, which made the whole experience feel even more connected to nature. What truly makes this experience stand out is Lasantha, the young local who runs this small business himself. He is friendly, kind, and a genuine people person. You can clearly see the passion and pride he takes in sharing his village and surroundings with visitors. He made us feel comfortable from the start and ensured we had a relaxed and memorable time on the water. I highly recommend this authentic and scenic experience to anyone visiting the area. It’s more than just a kayak ride — it’s a genuine local connection.

The experience was very enjoyable, we saw lots of birds and flowers around the lake. The guide was patience and tried to explain what we were watching. I would love more time kayaking but overall was a good experience

It was a nice trip with a nice guy. It‘s always good to be in the nature. Being in a boat gives you a completely different view on various things. Give it a try and you will see.
