Cooking class was phenomenal. A highlight of our European cruise trip excursions. Chef Mimmo was the consummate host. The food was outstanding and truly delicious. His mother was the sous chef and delightful to work with. It’s a four class and worth every penny. We would do it again in a heartbeat. It may be enough to have us come back to Sicily justfor this.
Chef Mimmo was informative as well as entertaining (kitchen meets theatre !) His schedule progressed according to plan (from going to market to the extensive yet fun food preparation) and the dinner finale was outstanding! Mimmo has a great team! The weather was perfect and the setting wonderful. His historical knowledge of Sicily and the regional food touched us deeply as Richard has Sicilian ancestry and Terri has some middle eastern roots. We highly recommend this!
This experience was fabulous! After a visit to a local market, we were driven to Mimmo’s restaurant facing the sea. Chef Mimmo, his mom, and two other assistants taught us how to prepare sauces and pasta. It was so informative and FUN! My husband and I are empty nesters and we were paired with a honeymoon couple. We all enjoyed the experience. We made a variety of pastas and at the end of the class, I bought a little wooden board to make pasta at home. I really got caught up in the moment lol. The food and wine was generous. Mimmo and his staff were kind, helpful and funny. There were lots of smiles and laughs.
Great experience. Learning how to make different kids of dry pasta as well as multiple other options. My entire family had a great time. The chefs were great and really made for an amazing learning experience.

My mom was so excited to go to the class to see how the Sicilans cooked. It did not disappoint. We had so much fun! Great food, company, and entertainment. Go! You won't regret it!

Fantastic day with Mimo and his family at his beautiful seafront restaurant, I have done a few cooking experiences all over Italy but this was definitely one of the best , amazing food and great value for money
Was a fun experience with great food and great people in an inviting setting. Highly recommended.
Chef Mimmo was wonderful, as were his assistants. The pasta making was so fun and everything was delicious. My son has celiac and they gave him gloves to handle the pasta and also his own gluten free meal at the end. The meeting point in upper Taormina was a bit silly and wasteful (an hour total, including the market), especially if you’re staying in the lower part.
