Visiting Shell Island was truly a special experience. Remember to bring some chairs, an umbrella, and a small cooler to make the most of your day. Using a sifter to find beautiful shells under the water made it even more memorable. We took the 10am ferry, which was just right—allowing us to enjoy the views and stay comfortably ahead of the heat. If there had been an earlier ferry, we might have chosen that so we could leave around noon, but overall, it was a magical trip. We returned home with an abundance of shells and large pieces of Half shells, and even a sand dollar or two. Our only small regret is that we didn’t find more, but the overall experience was truly worth it. If you’re considering this trip, I wholeheartedly recommend doing it—it's an unforgettable adventure.

I was alittle nervous getting there because I wasn’t sure how everything worked but after going inside and asking the ladies inside the shop they helped me so much and answered all of my questions and the rest was a walk in the park this was my family & I first time here and we absolutely loved it and definitely will be back again.

It was wonderful for those with a spirit for adventure. The staff was great! They were eager to assist with boarding and exiting the ferry, and they were very informational. PLUS, we saw dolphins as we headed toward Shell island! I definitely hope to make this trip again!!!

The service was prompt, entertaining, and went very well. The beaches were beautiful but I will warn folks to being bug spray as the biting flies were absolutely voracious in July!!

Wasn't anything like on the website I basically paid to go to the beach. Weather was bad I think they should have cancelled it, they cancelled the one before and was told they were probably closing some later ones as well we stayed for 2 hours only because we were stuck there waiting on the ferry back, rained too much! Waves were so bad my grandson was scared to go in! The ferry driver and the guy driving us to the ferry were very nice BUT the ladies in the office checking tickets and selling drinks was rude and if I could have cancelled with a full refund I would have treated me like trash! Again I think they should have cancelled and after my extinction wanted to cancel but would have lost my 150 something bucks

Ryan and Devin were the boat captains on the ferry and they were the best. Made us laugh, let my grandson and granddaughter steer the pontoon boat. They had a wonderful time. They were so entertaining. Yes, my name is Karen and we had a good laugh about it.
BEWARE!! This is absolutely the poorest, worst vendor to schedule a tour! If you are scheduled for a 10 am tour , get there at 9am. They only say arrive "30 minutes" early. Then they should state the tour leaves at 930!! The tram leaves at 930 to take you to the ferry that reportedly leaves at 10am. I dont know. I missed it. I was booked on a dolphin cruise instead. Learn from my experience, go early or you WILL GO HOME!!
It was an amazing boat ride! The captain and crew were extremely helpful and very friendly too the kids. 10/10 experience
