Great and safe way to move from city to city. Would definly use them again. Bus/ van was in great shape and ride was lovely with views from different spots.

GuateGo was fantastic to work with, very friendly and responsive in all communication! They arrived early for pick up, accommodating us since our flight came in early as well! First off, the bus ticket is $24 per person, but a private ride at the airport is $20/ person for two people. So save your money and go with reliable transportation. We initially booked a ride at 1:30PM from the airport. Took a while to get through customs but made it to cafe baretto the pick up spot (which was not stated on the ticket) exaclty at 1:30pm. The company knew as we notified them in advanced about our landing time. Didn’t see any signage/whatsapp of any kind, messaged the company. Was told by 1:47PM the vendors had “already left.” Had to find other transportation to our destination. Then was messaged at 4:24PM by the vendor that they were “looking for us”. Which we didn’t ask to sign up for the next bus. But odd we didn’t get any text at time of departure for our initial booking. Then when we asked to transition the ticket to a ride back we were basically told “sorry no refunds you were a no-show.” I see why they don’t do refunds, kind of scammy and odd practice.

We understand how frustrating flight delays can be, and we always do our best to accommodate our guests whenever possible. In this case, we adjusted your reservation based on the updated arrival information we received. Unfortunately, by the time you arrived at the meeting point, the scheduled shuttle had already departed. Our team offered you the next available shuttle from Guatemala City Airport to Antigua and explained that, since the reservation had already been modified and the original departure had passed, the booking would be considered a no-show under our operating policy. You chose not to wait for the next available departure. We genuinely regret that we could not provide the outcome you were hoping for. Last-minute changes to pre-scheduled shared transportation services sometimes involve operational limitations and penalties that are beyond our control. The communication with the operator was terrible to begin with. There were no details about how to find the transportation or what it even looked like to be able to find it. No one at the airport could assist me either. When I reached out, they did not immediately respond and when they did, they told me that the shuttle bus driver was late and to stand by the cafe. A few moments later I was informed that the shuttle driver could not “find me” and that they had left. So I was stranded at the airport and forced to order an (expensive) Uber! I cancelled my ride with them back to the airport because this company has proven to be untrustworthy. And I am still waiting for the operator to contact me back about a refund 😡
