We were the only ones in the tour which was nice. The visit to two wineries were very good. Negative was too much wasted time driving around and seemed to be stalling till wine tour. Lunch was just okay.
Jose Maria de Fonseca: Fantastic Winery Tour! you must visie the gardens and main building of the Jose Maria Da Fonseca winery and museum. Seafood lunch was amazing
There were three adults in our tour and we were so excited about the tour. Our nightmare began as follows: - Instead of picking us up at 9AM, we were picked up at 940AM!. The driver Phillip, said there was a lot of traffic but in reality he did not know where he was going. When we got in the car, it was dirty and not well kept. The seat belts were not working. - He had another person who was his girlfriend. He got lost while leaving Lisbon! Him and his girl friend would argue and talked in Portuguese all throughout which was highly unprofessional -.They got lost even though his girlfriend had a google navigator on hand. - To get us to first wine tasting that was to start at 1030, he zoomed though the traffic, AT ONE POINT DRIVING 160KM/HR!! We felt very unsafe especially since some of the seat belts were not working!. -He then got lost in Setubal, Sesimbra and than back to Lisbon! When returning to Lisbon, he continued to miss highway signs and even had us driving us toward Algarve (south of Portugal) when the signs clearly told him where to turn for Lisbon. He was again driving approximately 140KM/HR on our way back. The wineries and lunch was the only good thing of this tour. We are happy we are alive.
Tour booked for January 2, 2018. Long waited at the hotel but no one has come to dedicate. Took us a long time to reach anyone from Knight Riders Tourism. Result: the whole morning wasted waiting and no tour. Worst of all: I'm STILL waiting for the refund (via Viator)!!!
<p>Great tour - we liked the spontaneity of visiting a distillery instead of another winery, as we really learned about a family business and tasted some amazing liqueurs. We also really enjoyed a brief visit to Sesimbra, both for the lunch and spectacular views of the coast.</p>
