Oplev de betagende farvande i Walvis Bay på en uforglemmelig tur. Fra Namibias eneste dybvandshavn viser rejsen en blanding af traditionelle og moderne skibe, naturskønne østersfarme og et slående skibsvrag med potentielle observationer af flamingoer. Denne tur er fotografer drømme i det ideelle morgenlys over den rolige lagune, perfekt til at fange livlige landskaber og den legende aktivitet af delfiner, pelikaner og Cape Fur Seals på Pelican Point. En stabil sejlkatamaran sikrer en komfortabel betragtningsplatform med minimal miljøpåvirkning, hvilket tilføjer den afslappende atmosfære. Turen kulminerer med en smagning af prisvindende finger snacks, friske namibiske østers og mousserende vin, der giver en lækker regional oplevelse. Når du vender tilbage til havnen, vil du tage hjem uforglemmelige minder og fantastiske fotografier, der understreger, at dette er et must-do-eventyr i Namibia.

Katamaran Cruise afgår kl. 09h00 fra Waterfront i Walvis Bay og vender tilbage omkring kl. 12.00. Enroot ser vi Pelicans Seals og ofte delfiner. På en god dag kunne vi se Sunfish (Mola Mola) og endda hvaler (i hvalfangst sæsonen). Nogle gange flyver Pelikanerne virkelig tæt på, eller endda lander i katamaranen, og vi stopper ved selkolonien for at se den 50.000 stærke selkoloni fra havet. Snacks serveres på katamaranen. Tidspunktet for ind- og udskibning af katamaranen er ikke inkluderet i tiden (dette tager ca. 30 minutter) Vi henter dig på dit overnatningssted eller mødes på skibet, hvis du er gæst på krydstogtskibet.

They took us in a small speedboat not a catamaran as stated on the description of the tour, we were 14 people and not enough even standing room for all of us. We did see lots of seals and a few pelicans and the two crew members on board were pleasant and cheerful. Overall, an ok experience

A pleasant experience, well worthwhile. Expect to see seals, dolphins and pelicans from close-up. Knowledgeable crew, great snacks and drinks, and being out on the ocean provides for a unique experience. The desolation of the desert is visible from a boat on the ocean.

We saw literally thousands of seals and lots of pelicans. Some of the seals are very cheeky and jump on to the boat for a selfie. Also saw flamingoes when we were being transported back. The champagne and snacks were also great.

We had some friendly encounters with a pelican, seal and seagulls, and managed to see a whale. We were also served delicious refreshments throughout the cruise.

Very good organisation of our small.trip Picked up and brought back to our ship. So many seals from babies to oldies. Flamingoes in the distance and to top it of Jackel. Krystal and Vallem were the best and gave us a variety of food and drink including oysters for thise that wanted them. A simple easy trip but with the guidance of a very knowlegeable captain.

What and amazing experience kayaking with the seals in the bay!! Le Clux certainly knows his stuff - he was constantly informing us about the seals, their habitat and way of life. A real wealth of knowledge. Thank you !!

People on the boat were fantastic and very helpful. We really enjoyed the boating experience. The transportation back to ship was disorganized and the ride back, the vehicle lost its brakes and transmission ability which we almost crashed but by the grace of God did not hit another vehicle. Then we sat for almost a half an hour waiting for another vehicle to return us. Left a very sour taste in our mouth after a good boating experience. The other complaint is about the customs and hoops you have to jump through to get into the country of Namibia and pay a fee of $19 a person. Might as well skip that destination on this cruise route from Royal Caribbean. This will be our first let down of Viators which we use all the time. I hope this isn’t things to come.
Glad you loved the Dolphin Cruise. This is one of our in house Tours. We sincerely apologize for the mishap with the transport company that we rented in to help move our guests. We will never use them again. All tourism vehicles have to be road worthied every year. CXant understand the mishap. Please accept our apologies. For the Namibian Government we cannot speak , as its out of our control, but the authorities feel that Namibians are charged horrendous vise fees from some countries so Namibia will impose same onto them. Trust you accept our apologies. Safe travels.
Unfortunately there was no coffee and tea in the morning. There was little information about the animals and not enough seats in the boat. In case of bad weather, some guests must stand/sit on the deck. The food was accessible to the people in the boat. Those who sit outside could only go badly. There were not enough champagne glasses for all guests.
DANKE die Kritiek . So koennen wir unsere Fehler verbessern. Tut uns sehr leid das alles nicht in Ordnung war. Das Catamaran das wir eingemietet haben fuer Das Kreuzfahrt Schiff war antscheint zu klein, unser Fehler. Es wird nicht wieder passieren. Zum Glueck Regnet es nicht hier in der Wueste, aber dicken Nebel haben wir schon. Danke die Einweisung, wir werden uns verbessern. Wuensche weiterhin Gute Reise.
